But he didn't. Not for hours. He just couldn't get Ashton out of his head.
"So what's up with you and Ashton Moore?" Saoirse's voice jerked Timothèe out of his thoughts.
"Hm? Oh, we're friends. That's it." They were sitting in a coffee shop, trying to ignore the stares from all around. The waitress had almost spilled hot coffee all over herself when Timothèe had smiled kindly at her, but apart from that, they were just fantastic.
"Right, well, she's bi, isn't she?" Saoirse wiggled her eyebrows.
"No!" he yelped. "I mean, she is bi, but she wouldn't— She's not— "
"I thought so," she said smugly. "You like her."
"Not so loud!" Saoirse laughed.
"Are you worried someone will hear?"
"Yes!" She laughed again, and Timothèe glared at her grumpily.
"You're like a puppy," she said, ruffling his hair. He swatted her hand away and continued to sulk. "Right, well I have to meet her before I can give you my blessing."
"No, it's alright, really —"
"Don't worry, I'm texting her right now."
