How do you make use of that one chance to truly live it?
Life is what you make it up to be. We make our own destiny.
We make our own choices; choices that will define you, who you are, where you're going and what you're meant and supposed to be.
Life is a series of yes or no.
Yes to new adventures, no to changes, yes to love, no to pain. Yes to new opportunities and growth, and no to toxic people who hinder those.
These choices will either make or break you. But don't get me wrong, life is not made up of strict rules that you have to follow.
You don't have to be perfect because you might break. You are allowed to make mistakes, and it's up to you to learn and grow from those mistakes or repeat it and never progress.
You are allowed to be weak, cry and feel lonely from time to time. Crying is not a sign of weakness.
Be vulnerable, you are allowed to feel.
You are allowed to have your day to wallow in sadness or pain, but don't stay in that path, be strong, never stay.
You are allowed to fall in love and feel that 'butterflies in my tummy' feeling.
You are allowed to be selfish, be immature, be a coward, because you are going to grow up and learn that sometimes not everything is about you, that sometimes you have to take risks and make a step forward, that sometimes you can be a young stupid person who doesnt know any better.
The most important thing is to learn, be open-minded and grow up. You have to grow up, sweetheart. You have to face life with a better version of yourself.
Always aim for improvement and self-growth.
This is a story of our lives. How we found each other, how we made a pact to be the best of friends, how we saw each other grew up, how we made mistakes, how we learned from those mistakes, how we we became closer, and how we grew apart.
A story of how we experienced heartbreaks, and how we fell in love.
A slice of our lives.
We are the new generation. A bunch of young kids, ready to experience the world, ready to face everything... together.
