AISHANI'S POV -

Abhay and I came back home by seven, I felt a familiar presence all along while jogging, I had a gut feeling that it was him.

Does he still go to jog at Marine Drive?

I even felt that he was following me after I brought the orange juice so I ran faster and used the trick I used to when we were small to escape but then he still followed me and I had to run through the place where there was a lot of smoke.

Did all that have to happen?

I entered the house and smelled something amazing which made me forget whatever I was thinking.

"Mumma what are you making?" I asked and ran to the kitchen.

"Ghujiya" mumma said.

"You make gujiya only on Holi." I said.

"Holi? Kab hain holi? Holi kab hain?" I asked.

"Oh gabbar singh aaj hain holi." Abhay said.

"I am not gabbar." I said.

"You were asking like a gabbar only." Abhay said.

"Shushh and taste this gujiya." mumma said and took a gujiya and fed it to me.

"Mumma koi jalne ki badboo aa nahi rahi aapko?" I asked.

"Kya? Gas pe kuch nahi jal raha." mumma said.

"Gas ke bahar maa, apke right pe kuch ja raha hain." I said and maa looked at Abhay who was fuming.

"Yeh tum dono ka drama kabhi nahi badlega." maa said and fed him one gujiya too.

"Maa instead why dont you tell him that he is adopted." I said and maa lightly hit me on my head.

"So holi ka kya plan hain?" I asked.

"Beach holi, buy one get one pass mil rahe the and I bought two so we all for have passes." Abhay said.

"Wah mera bhai smart ho raha hain." I said and ruffled his hair.

"Humesha tha." Abhay corrected.

"Tum dono ready ho jao, I have kept an old t shirt on each of your beds." mumma said.

"Ma I will wear only white, its holi." Abhay said.

"Holi wale why ruin a white t shirt for holi?" I asked.

"Aree par." Abhay was going to say something but maa interupted.

"Tera purana white t shirt hee rakha hain." maa said and we went to change.

We changed and came out.

"Didu you look like a bhikhari." Abhay said.

"You look like Ramu kaka, our old cleaner." I said and we set out to fight again.

"Ab mera ghar ghar lagta hain." papa said while coming out.

"Why?" I asked.

"My daughter is back why else?" he asked.

"Papa iske fights mein even I am involved." Abhay said.

"Kyun fight karte ho? She is your big sister, respect her." papa said and I chuckled.

"Wah, if she fights then ghar ki raunak and if I fight then where is your respect for your sister wah!" Abhay said and fake clapped.

"Chalo nikle I am ready" maa said.

"Haan madam aapki hi rah dekhi jaa rahi thi." I said.

"I wont be joining, I need to go to the Reddy mansion, we have a deal to discuss and work upon." papa said.
