Not seeing/feeling true love is hard. You never truly understand it. Growing up without a real male figure to show you love does not help. It's frustrating. It's hard.
You finally find someone that shows you love. Real love. You frequently don't know how to take it, though. It's hard being able to deal with all the affection. Isn't everyone supposed to leave? Isn't everyone supposed to give up on you? I thought male figures hated me? Am I too much? He will leave me, right?
You will learn. The silence isn't always a sign they are leaving you. The small text isn't a sign you're annoying; it is a sign they are busy. One day you won't repeatedly need to be promised they won't leave. One day, you will just know. One day, you will realize how much growth you've done. One day, you will love it. One day, you will be thanking Jesus for giving you someone the complete opposite of your past. One day, it will all feel complete.
