"Can you sleep over tonight?" Hiro murmurs into my ear on the way home. 

"Let me ask," I rub his hand and lurch forward to ask my mom. "Mom can I sleep over at Hiro's tonight?" 

"No, maybe some other time," she responds flatly. I look back to Hiro and he looks embarresed. 

"Please, mom, I promise we won't do anything stupid," 

"No, Y/N, I said no," she reply's with more attitude. What's gotten into her ? She used to be the fun mom, now she turned into some over protective jerk. 

"Ok, geez," I lean back into Hiro's chest. I lean my head back on him. 

"Sorry," I whisper. 

"It's ok," 

"I love you Hiro," I play with his big hands. 

"I love you too," he kisses the back of my head. Watching intently as I fool with his fingers. My mom stops in front of Hiro's house even though we lives right across from me. 

"Mom can i-" I begin. 

"No," She interupts. Hiro looks terrified as he closes the door. I text him immedialty. 

me: shes being a bitch idk why

Hiro<3: its ok 

My mom and Ginnifer go in the house I fallow after. I go for the steps but my mom tells me other wise. 

"I need to talk to you about your little boyfriend," she taps her foot. What did Hiro ever do ? I don't understand. 

"Ok," I lean with my arms crossed against the counter. 

"I want you too break up with him," 

"What no, mom, I love him," I argue. 

"You don't know what love is, plus I saw him screwing around with other girls," 

"Mom he has friends that are girls. and until today he didn't know I was alive," 

"Y/N, look at him now, he's all in black. He's way too touchy, Y/N, you could have someone better," 

"Mom, I want Hiro, he's perfect," 

"NO he's not, there are several other guys I can hook you up with instead of that numbskull over there," 

"Hiro's so smart you could never find anyone better than him," 

"I can and I already have, he's my old best friends son, he's a year older than you and he's smart, handsome, talented," 

"Hiro is all of those too," I begin to feel no need for this conversation. I don't want some spoiled little rich boy, I want HIro. 

"No he's not, Y/N, he's smart sure, but he doesn't have a lot of money and he's not the best for you," 

"Money doesn't make a person anymore valuable, I rather be homeless with HIro then rich with some snobby asshole," I swear. 

"He's not snobby, Nathan is kind and a gentlemen, look at this picture of him and his dog," My mom pushes her phone in my face but I swat it away. I don't want to look at anyone else but Hiro. 

"I want to be with Hiro, end of story," I conclude. 

"Fine, but when he breaks your heart or does something stupid I'll be the one to say told you so," she gives me a mean little smile before I trek up the steps. 

"AHH!" I scream in my pillow. Mary looks at me from across the room raising a brow. 

"Hiro is an idiot though, I can't argue with her on that," 

"Shut up," I snarl. I take my phone from my pocket and text Hiro again.

me: she wants me to break up with u

Hiro <3: what ?!?!?!

me: Im not going to i promise

Hiro <3: I love you 

me: I love you too handsome ;D
