Chapter 4

Cassie was standing outside in the rain with the hood of a sweater on her head, she had been checking her phone, waiting for her father to come and pick her up after stealing tech from Glen Co. But of course she was at a bus station
"Waiting for your boyfriend" a man said, he was in his late thirties maybe early forties
"Something like that" said Cassie
"Congratulations" the man said
"What" asked Cassie
"The baby" said the man pointing at a picture of an ultrasound, her half-sister gave her a picture after finding it she was pregnant, but Cassie thought that she couldn't trust this guy and went with it
"Thanks" said Cassie
"How far along are you" the man asked
"A month" said Cassie
"You and the father must be so happy" said the man
"Very" said Cassie, she glanced to the side to see three men coming her way and then to the other side to see four guys coming her way
"I better go, I wouldn't want to get sick, it was nice talking to you" Cassie said and the man stood up
"You can stop faking now" said the man
"Faking what" Cassie asked
"The baby, the boyfriend" said the man
"Dude, I don't know what you're talking about, I don't even know who the hell you are" said Cassie
"My Name is Dane Glen" said the man and he continued "is your name Cassie Lane"
"No, my name is Calliope Jane Newton" said Cassie as a guy took her bag and started searching through it before finding her ID
"Sir, it's true" said the guy that took her bag as he handed the ID to Dane
"It's fake" said Dane and the guys surrounded her
"You guys aren't gonna hit a pregnant woman right?" Said Cassie
"But you're not" said Dane
"Dude, you don't even know me, I could be" said Cassie
"Sir, she makes a valid point" said the bodyguard
"Can I pregnant woman do this" Dane asked as he took a laptop from one of the guards and showed them a video of Cassie attacking the guards
"That is incriminating" said Cassie
"Sorry Miss" said the guy
"Yeah, So am I" said Cassie punching him in the face and flipping over his back and kicking his legs out from underneath him as Dane wined his gun at her
"Don't do anything stupid" said Dane and Cassie kicked the gun out of his hand and punched him in the stomach, broke his hand and shot the others and started to run down the street before being blocked by more Glen Co guards
"Come on guys, did you not see what I did to the rest of your guys" said Cassie
"Yes and we do not appreciate it" said the guy
"You guys have balls" said Cassie grabbing two of her guns and aiming them at her opponents
"Drop 'em" the guard said
"I don't feel like getting dirty or making myself smell like garbage, so I'm just going to shoot you" said Cassie before she started shooting killing most of them in the process, she ran up the fire escape, once she reached the roof she poured some of her liquor on the top and dropped her lighter on it and then she turned around to see that Dane and his guys followed her to the building
"This is why my father never had a daughter or a wife for that matter" said Dane as one of the guys stabbed her in the side and the other punched her in the face, luckily Cassie knew how to keep herself from bleeding out but that would only work for a certain period of time, she finished off the second guard and grabbed Dane and shoved him into the flames
"See you in hell, where the sun don't shine and the hell hounds go" said Cassie before running/staggering to the door leading down to the apartments, the door was opened and she started to go down the stairs, once she reached the hallway, she sat down and started to check her wound, then she knew that she was going to bleed out and die or someone would see her, the door next to her opened to reveal a woman in her early sixties, that woman looked at Cassie and came out of her apartment
"Let's get you up dear" said the old woman helping Cassie up, but of course that was the last thing Cassie heard
