Chapter 5

Nami

Following the path Luffy took is hard. The turan twists & turns, all sorts of creatures roam around. I hear my captains happy cheers as he rides a white giant tiger down the path. Zoro seems to have gotten lost again.

"Usopp! Can you find Zoro?" I call.

"Sure!"

I watch as Usopp aims his slingshot in the direction I assume Zoro disappeared in. "Found him! Exploding vine star!" Usopp shouts & realises his slingshot.

"What the hell Usopp!" Zoro yells angrily

"This way dummy!" I call, now behind Usopp.

Zoro makes a beeline towards us.
"I would've found ya." Zoro mumbles.

"Sure ya would've." I smile

"Hey Guys! There's a temple up ahead!" Luffy yells back making me groan.

"Let's explore it!" Luffy states a grin on his face when we got closer.

"Careful Luffy, there could be traps." Robin advises. Before more could be said Luffy takes off into the towering golden temple. Zoro, Sanji, & Franky close behind him.

"Well we don't have a choice now. Let's go!" I shout following the guys into the temple the rest of the crew behind me.

The first room we enter is made entirely of gold. In the corner sits a piano made of silver.

"Robin! What's this say?" Luffy asks excitedly pointing at a gold plate on the wall.

Robin steps forward & reads the plate.
"He who wishes to be king must first demonstrate knowledge of pirates past, present & future. -Gol D Roger."

"Brook! Play that song!" Luffy calls excitedly spotting the piano.

"Luffy I don't think now's the time for a party!" I shout angrily.

"Maybe it is." Robin hums thoughtfully.
Before I can complain anymore Brook is at the piano & has started the familiar melody. As the first line leaves Brooks mouth the crew starts singing,

"Yo-hohoho, Yo-hoho-ho,

Yo-hohoho, Yo-hoho-ho,
Yo-hohoho, Yo-hoho-ho,
Gather up all of the crew!
It's time to ship out Bink's brew!
Sea wind blows. To where?
Who knows?
The waves will be our guide!
O'er across the ocean's tide,
Rays of sunshine far and wide,
Birds they sing of cheerful things, in circles passing by!

Bid farewell to weaver's town!
Say so long to port renowned!
Sing a song, it won't be long, before we're casting off!
Cross the gold and silver seas
The salty spray puts us at ease!
Day and night to our delight,
The voyage never ends!
Gather up all of the crew!
It's time to ship out Bink's brew!
Pirates we, eternally are challenging the sea!
With the waves to rest our heads,
ship beneath us as our beds!
Hoisted high upon the mast our Jolly Roger flies!
Somewhere in the endless sky,
Stormy winds are blowin' by!
Waves are dancing, evening comes,
It's time to sound the drums!
But steady men may never fear!
Tomorrow's skies are always clear!
So pound your feet and clap your hands till sunny days return!

As the final line of the melody comes to a close a door opens behind the piano leading down a dimly lit passageway.
"Yahoo!" Luffy yells happily racing down the passageway.
