Chapter 2

"Hello? Mom, Kakalabas ko lang ng airport. I'm on my way to our house," he said while getting his luggage in the back compartment of his car.

"No, don't yet. I'm here in our meeting place. Pumunta ka na dito." His mother command.

"What?! Why so early? kadarating ko lang," Giit nya sa ina.

"Brix, This is urgent. Late ka na sa meeting,"anito sa kanya.

Napabuntong hininga naman sya sabay sara ng compartment ng kotse nya,"Haist! Give me the location, I'll go there directly." He said then ended the call.

Mabilis naman syang sumakay ng kotse nya at pinaharurot iyon palayo sa paliparan ng Paris.

Nakarating sya sa isang restaurant hindi malayo sa airport kung saan sya nang galing. Pagbaba nya ng sasakyan ay agad na pumasok sya sa loob at inilibot ng tingin ang kabuoan ng resto na pinasukan nya para hanapin ang ina nya.

"Good morning sir, any reservation?" Waiter ask him while still in front of the door.

"Uhm,.Mrs. Eugenio?" his not sure about what he says.

"This way sir,." the waiter shows him the way.Mabilis na natanaw nya ang ginang na nakangiti sa kanya at kumakaway.

"Hijo! you're finally here,." tumayo ito sa kinauupuan at humalik sa mga pisngi nya.

"I miss you too Mom," bati nya din at naupo sa tapat nito," Where's Dad?" hanap nya sa tatay nya.

"Ow, his at the resto managing there." tugon ng ginang.

"So what's this meeting all about?" tanong nya.

"Hmm,.I want you to teach this client." His mom implies.

Napakunot-noo naman sya sa sinabi nito sa kanya," What?! mom, I'm a chef not a tutor!?" giit nya sa ina.

"Exactly, your a chef and you're teaching her how to cook,.hijo." His Mom clarifies.

"'Her'? So it's a girl?" kumpirma nya sa ina na ikinatango naman nito.

Bigla naman syang natawa dahil sa nalaman nya," She's a girl and she can't cook? how's that possible?"

"I'm sorry, I'm late Mrs. Eugenio but I think I won't gonna do this anymore, I'm sorry." napabaling sya sa babaeng nagsalita sa harap nila na halatang kadarating lang.

He stunned by her presence, everything, every moment get slow, his world stops and all he can hear is his heartbeat fast running like a horse inside his chest.

Brix was so attract by her beautiful and clearskin face, skyblue eyes, pointed nose bridge, and sweltering lips. He already feel his friend awakens.

"Brix! Brix!" he came back to the reality and look at his Mom that was now angered to him.

"Huh?"

"What 'Huh'? What did you do? go get her!?" galit na utos ng ina sa kanya at doon lang nya napansin na naglalakad na papalayo ang babae sa pwesto nila.

"Who is she? What did I do wrong?" lito nyang tanong sa ina.

"She's our client! She's the one I'm talking to you and now you're being rude for what you said to her!" Giit ng ina nya sa kanya.

"What?! Why didn't you tell me?"

"You're so out of it. Now go get her and apologize to her. Hind ka babalik dito hangga't hindi mo sya nakakausap." Banta ng ina nya sa kanya.
