Patton's POV(3rd person)
It was a normal day at school, Patton would greet his friends. They would all chit chat about the normal things, like teasing one over their crush, or blaring songs in the cafeteria. It was a rather fun day of course, or until...
"Are colorblind people color blind or are the people with 'normal' color sight color blind?" Danielle, Patton's second best friend, asked as she chugged her oversized soda. Lunch was almost over when this conversation was brought up. "Good question Danielle." Christine, his 5th best friend stated with her usual mischievous glare.
Just as Patton began to think about it the bell rang signaling lunch was over. He got up before dumping his tray and turning to his group of friends, "Bye guys! I'll talk to you all tomorrow!" He chirped before skipping off to his next class.

Patton's POV(3rd person)
He had entered his house as he then looked amongst a crying girl and a yelling male. "M-Mom, Dad?" He stared in disbelief as he saw 2 suitcases, one of which were his, the other belonged to none other then his father. "Shut up F***ot!" His father snapped as he turned to you. "Don't talk to my son like that!" His Mom stepped in, clearly furious.
"Or else what?! From my understanding he's coming with me!" His father hissed back, threatening to hit the woman but stopped himself. "Grab your bag and lets go you disgrace!" He turned to a visibly shaken up Patton who reluctantly grabbed his bag.
At least he isn't drunk.... this thought ran through the young teenagers mind several times as he entered the car. Usually after a fight his Father would be chugging bottle after bottle down which made Patton feel uneasy and in some cases, unsafe. His father had been drinking since Patton was a little younger then 5 years old which lead to violent behavior, especially towards his Mom. It was a upsetting to be hiding in your room as your Father would hit your Mom; however, just because he wasn't always targeted didn't mean he wasn't a target. He was 7 years old when his father had first fhrew an empty beer bottle at him. He still remembered it clearly.
~Flashback~
A seven year old Patton was playing in his room when his father called for him, anger in his voice. Patton could tell something was up but couldn't really disobey his father. Though he had never been hurt previously he had listened to the cries of his mother who his Father hurt on a daily basis.
"Do you mind explaining why you got a B+ on your math test?!" He looked at his son, his eyes filled with rage. "Oh! I tried my best and I'm proud of myself!" A naive Patton chirped as he smiled.
The young boys happy gaze quickly turned into fear as his arm got hit by a glass like bottle. "O-Oww...!" He yelped and held his arm tearing up a bit. "That hurt Daddy!" He looked up at his father who seemed to completely ignore his cry of pain. "Do better next time! I will not raise an idiot child!" He had sent Patton to his room without dinner that night. His Mom was at work so his father didn't have to worry about getting into a fight with her over the matter.
~End of Flashback~
Patton teared up at the memory. He kept his gaze out the window as they past the exit to his town. I'll miss you all! He began to tear up a bit more but his it with his hood, careful not to let his father catch eye of his now tear covered face. After a bit he slowly drifted off to sleep.
