Chapter 36: The Three Corporate Leaders

“So now I’m indecisive just because I want to back out?! Then may I ask you if I really want this in the first place??? You just forced me!” Ye Qiu threw tantrums, not caring about the surrounding customers and his image.

“If you’re really indifferent about this plan, no one could force you, no?” Ye Xiu smiled and even though he was wearing glasses, Ye Qiu could still imagine his mocking eyes.

“…I,”

“You’re willing to but afraid that Little Tang is only being forced to agree with this plan?” Ye Xiu gave his rhetoric reply.

Ye Qiu didn’t answered but the rage from his eyes were already fading.

“Qiu-ge, we are already here and Xiao Tang is clearly willing to help you, right Xiao Tang?” Li Chunhua helped to convince the guy, pulling him down to sat down for once.

Tang Rou who was suddenly called out withdrew the entertained look on her face and seriously dealt with the situation.

“You don’t have to worry,” Tang Rou had no choice but to give a reassuring smile to the confused guy. After all, she was indeed willing to help.

When Li Chunhua told her about this plan, honestly, she was a little skeptic. But her senior explained to her every details, even the pros and the cons. The good thing about this was if they succeeded, Ye Qiu would be allowed to join their team whilst they would have enough strength to defeat Excellent Era, if ever the power house would be thrown in the Challenger’s League.

But most of all, she could help someone to also pursue his passion. No one could understand how important passion was more than her. It’s a life drive, no?

And yes, what they would do was really a form of deception, but she’s not a person with firm three views, and as if they were going to rob or kill someone. She believed in his father’s words, that’s right ah, as long as you’re happy.

So she agreed. The plan was very simple and the goal was also clear: Pretend to be lovers, give assurance to the Ye Family’s head, and get a go signal for Ye Qiu to join the team.

Easy as that!

This acting would only last for a few hours and might only repeat in a handful of times. Really not a big deal ah!

She might even think that Ye Qiu hated her that much to reject her help, only if she’s not sure that the two of them already agreed to be friends.

Tang Rou was not seeing this plan as a big problem, but Ye Qiu was afraid to give her inconvenience. After all, he did something…. Awful? Indecent? Acceptable? Okay?
