Chapter 02-Engagement

TWO WEEKS PASSED since that incident in the bar happened. It was chaotic. I couldn't believe myself trying to know more about him since that day. I even reactivated my twitter just to know about his daily life!

Even my blockmates were shocked. Hindi raw kasi sila sanay na gumagamit ako ng any social media platform but then, I just smiled and said, it's time for a change.

I sighed and drank my cappuccino while scrolling at my feed. Ang boring. I said in my thoughts, seeing tweets that I'm really not interested on. I just turned off my phone and I leaned on my car, waiting for Ava to come over.

May tinatapos pa kasi siyang charity event kaya nandito ako sa labas ng UST ngayon, naghihintay at walang magawa. I even glared at the boys who seems enjoying their view. They were looking because I was wearing a not so long skirt.

"Aalisin niyo 'yang mga tingin niyo o tutusukin ko 'yang mga mata niyo?" masungit kong banta sa kanila.

They immediately looked away after that. I rolled my eyes and sipped my coffee again. But then I saw a man passing by so I almost blew out my coffee.

He's wearing a black designer shirt and black slacks. May dala-dala pa siyang itim na sling bag. His hair is a bit messy but it matched his features too. Bigla pa 'kong nanigas sa kinatatayuan nang biglang humangin sa direksyon niya kaya bahagya niyang inayos ang buhok pa itaas.

"Sir, that's illegal," I playfully smirked.

All eyes were on him as he passes by to walk towards his car beside mine! In my surprise, our eyes met so I had to look away.

Wrong timing ang pucha... I cursed in my mind because I was so embarrass with my actions last two weeks.

I faced his gaze again and I suddenly want to disappear when he was still looking at me! I immediately grabbed my notebook to cover up my face.

Naisipan kong tumakbo palayo pero may bigla nalang humila ng backpack ko. I gulped, Oh My, what should so I do?!

"U-Uhm..." I uttered, not facing him. "Hello, D-Dilim! Nice to see you..."

"Pinagsasabi mo diyan?" Ava said rudely.

My eyes widened so I faced her. "Anong dilim? Hello? Ang puti puti ko kaya tapos tatawagin mo 'kong dilim, Cass?"

Doomed, I awkwardly smiled and gaze at Dark's direction again. Surprisingly, I caught him off guard, looking at me and chuckling as he goes inside his car.

Napanguso ako sa pagkapahiya. That man! Nakakainis ah!

"Lutang ka na naman ba? Kakainom mo 'yan ng kape," she just said so I pouted. She already entered the car so I heavily sighed when Dark already left the parking too, pumasok na rin ako sa kotse ko.

I drove Ava to her home since her car wasn't with her. Binisita rin kasi namin si Fourth kaya sabay na kaming pumunta sa UST kanina. Little did I know, Dark was there and he even laughed at me a while ago!

Why is he even visiting UST, huh?

It's been a long day for the both of us. We had some few sketches and quizzes for today. I also had my gift for Tita Stella wrapped beside me, she's the one who's having a birthday party tonight.

I actually don't have a plan to give her a gift but for my Father to shut up already, I just bought his second wife a Hermes Scarf. Pasalamat na nga sila at original pa rin ang binili ko, kung wala ako sa mood baka sa Divisoria ko na lang binili ang ireregalo ko sa kanya.

We're currently at the parking. I got to drive a long way so I have to be going domestic early. It's already 3' o clock in the afternoon so I figure I'll get there around 6:00 or 6:30 pm.
