Chapter Six - "A Golden Weekend"

Hagumi's POV

Location: Hanasakigawa High

Now that all the drama is done, (Y/N) and I can have some fun together again.

I'm not sure what we'll be doing next. Maybe play more games at his house?

Or go to Smile Land? Splashmouth Aquarium? The chocolate factory?

Nah, (Y/N) would do bigger things than that.

Now, class is over. Let me meet (Y/N) at the front gates!

Location: Front Gates

(Y/N) is there, like I expected!

I gave him a huge hug and kissed him on the cheek.
Mii-kun and Kokoron laughed.

"Good old Hagumi. Got any plans later today?" Mii-kun asked.

"Yeah," (Y/N) stepped in. "Since it's Friday,  we're going on a weekend trip together."

"What?!" Everyone said at once, including me.

"But I didn't pack my stuff!" I said.

"That's why we were headed to your house right now," he told me.

"Ooh! A trip? I wanna go along!" Kokoron jumped up.

Mii-kun put her hand on Kokoron's shoulder.
"That's not a good idea..."

"But why?" Kokoron asked.

"Because it's Hagumi and (Y/N) bonding time," she responded.

"We're a band! Hello, Happy World!, and we stick together like glue!"

Kokoron's eyes were glittering. I do want to spend time with (Y/N) alone...
But I'd be abandoning the band, according to her.
I love Hello, Happy World! so much.

"(Y/N), let's take all of the band! Even Kaoru-kun, Kanon-chan, and Mii-kun!" I suggested.

"Huuuuuuh?!" (Y/N) said with a tired voice.

He was quiet for a bit.
"Okay, sure. Anything for you." He patted my head. "You guys up for it, Misaki?"

"Sure. I need a getaway. Where to?"

"It's a secret. We'll be taking a bus there," he replied.

"A bus?" Kokoron laughed. "We can take my limo. My driver goes faster than the speed limit."

"I-isn't that dangerous?" (Y/N) asked.

"No! It's fun!" Kokoron laughed. "Besides, it's only when no other cars are on the road."

"No cars? That's rare around here," I said.

"They probably closed off the roads as if she was the President of the US." Mii-kun laughed to herself.

"Ooh!" Kokoron jumped up. "I wanna meet the President! He's super-cool!"

"I'm not too sure of that. His enthusiasm definitely trumps anybody else..." (Y/N) remarked.

After that, we all went home individually and packed our stuff.

I got a few clothes and of course, my plushie.

My parents weren't home, and since the trip is already planned, I left them a note.
I should be okay. They can't hurt me.

We all met back at Kokoron's, and we got into her limo.
I've been in here before, but I'm still in awe.
