Two pop
Three poppy seeds.
Down, down, down with my greed.
I am sad, I am happy
Let's make this go away,
quick and snappy.
Prescriptions and bottles litter my room,
Getting rid of my peculiar doom.
One at night, one in the afternoon
Goodbye, goodbye, impending doom.
I don't like pills but they take away the pain,
So I don't worry about the blood stains.
No more hurt, no more sorrow
This is another problem for tomorrow.
Lexapro, Zoloft, and tryptophan
Bye, bye, bye goes the Sad Man.
Therapy, hotlines, escaping
Look at what I'm making!
Anxiety, Depression, ADHD,
Hey, let go of me!
Running and running, happy, happy
Take 'em quick and snappy.
Slow, slow, slow
Down, down below.
Drink the water,
Before you falter.
It is alright to feel this way,
It's not your price to pay.
