Chapter 2: Game

Maya's POV
As we walked into the cafeteria together holding hands we got the strangest look from people. People were staring at us whispering and talking about us but I guess Lucas didn't notice because he just took my tray and out my favorite foods on it. How did he know my favorite lunch food? O well.
"Hey I'm gonna go sit with me friends" I said as I was trying to pull the tray from his hands. he didn't let me.
"No let me carry it, after all u are my girlfriend" he winked as we walked over to Riley and Farkle
"Hey guys" I said trying to avoid the awkwardness
"Hey" they said
"So..." I said
"So...."riley said
"Are you to like dating?!?!" farkle yelled
"Yea this is my smocking hot babe"Lucas said looking straight at me
"Explain" Riley said looking confused
After a while if explaining what happened and the game to them...
"Wow." they both said in unison
"Yep" I said
"Look Lucas" farkle got serious "if u hurt Maya in any way I will kill YOU!" He said standing up
"Why would I want to hurt my baby" Lucas said putting his strong arm around me. Man, I have to step up my game if I want to win this thing.
"Thanks Farkle" i said to him as he started to sit down again.
After lunch Lucas came up behind me wrapping his arms around me. holding me.
"Hey there sexy" he said whispering in my ear
"Hey babe" I said as I was Turing around wrapping my arms around his neck. I knew I had to turn up my game.
"OOOH babe, I like the sound of that" he's said holding me
The bell rang and we held hands on our way to our next class. Riley, Farkles, Lucas, and I all have history together. Riley's dad teaches this class.
"Good morning class" Mr. Matthews said
"Good morning" we repeated
"Today we will be staring a project and and I've already set up partners come check this please for your parnters" he said
I went up and I saw:
MAYA HART.............LUCAS FRIAR
The bell rang and we were out the door. Lucas carried my books for me. How sweet. wait NO u can't lose step up ur game MAYA!!
"So wanna work on the project at my house" he said
"Sure" I said
"And we'll be the only ones there so maybe we could..."
" Wow slow down there cowboy" I said giggling
"It was worth a shot" he said " I need to get to class
"Wait a sec u forgot something" I said
"What"
I got up on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek. NO way I'm losing
"See u later babe" I said in a sexy voice
He started to blush and I think I'm winning. after school Riley texted me.
"Who's texting ya" Lucas said. we where at his house woking on the project.
"Nothing" "nobody" i said
"Ok" he said
This was the text:
RILEY: I need to tell u something awesome!

And I think I'll leave u just right there. cliffhanger.... sorta. what do u think Riley is gonna tell Maya?
