EVENING

The day now, has come to an end
It's evening, my dear friend.
It's now a pleasant time,
To write down another rhyme.
Sitting in the balcony, watching the sunset,
Watching at the horizon, where the earth and sky meet,
I realized, even endings can be beautiful.
And I readily accepted defeat.
As the colors in the sky, began to merge
From violet to dark,
I noticed the night on the verge.
The stars now were ready to blink
The moon smiles with a wink.
Tomorrow a weekend,
Some time to spend,
With yourself.
Tomorrow is a new day
Maybe something new coming up your way?
