"Aunt Maria " I gasped and I'm sure my eyes are as wide as saucers. She is my mom's younger sister who used to visit me before my parents died and I loved her. Tears rolled down our eyes as she looked at me with adoration.

I sat up and she quickly moved to my aid. Why was she here? Where was she all this time after my parents died? And most importantly why didn't she show up earlier?

Thousands of question where swirling in my mind. For once I was confused about my feeling whether to be happy after knowing I had a living family member or be angry on the fact that I went through the feeling of being left alone all those years also not forgetting those bully gangs though the leading has to be my mate from whom I ran away.

"Avy darling you have no idea how happy I am to finally have you with me" she said snapping me out of my thoughts. Once she made sure I was comfortable she hugged me. Her warm body felt so real as I clinged to her forgetting my pain. All that mattered at this moment was that I was finally able to hug my mom, my second mom precisely. I missed her a lot. But many unanswered question bothered me.

"How..." I stared at her not sure how to say it out "Why are you here?" Finishing it I tried my best to make sure my voice was steady as I was so close to breaking out.

"Well I should be the one  asking  you that?" she replied with tears in her eyes which pretty much resembled my mom's green emerald coloured eyes. She gently creased my face with happiness visible on her face.

"But first she should eat" someone interrupted. "You look like you just woke up from your grave all skin on bones" he chuckled moving towards a drawer next to the bed and placing a tray with foods.

"Now Tucker it is not fair to make jokes if you do that again you will be cleaning.." Aunt Marie warned as she hugged me again.

"Sorry mom" Tucker said quickly with a sad face "I was just trying to cheer her up" He said as he gave me a sad smile.

Wait he said mom to aunty Mo that means he is none other then cousin Tucker.

"Tuc tuc" I said looking directly in his eyes.

"Princess" he smiled down at me and without thinking I hugged him though I was still sitting on the bed supported by pillows the only thing I could reach were his stomach. At that moment all my walls shattered as I hugged him tighter and cried to my hearts content.

"There there shorty I missed you to" He voice sounded gentle as his hands patted me.

"No you didn't coz I misses you more" it seemed that all the tears which I was holding in for so many years finally made it's way out.

If I really missed someone more then my parents then it would be him though we were cousins. he was like a real brother to me  and I remember telling him all of my secrets and getting in trouble with him just like best friends would.

"Now I assume you must be hungry, so I bought your favourite" my wailing died finally as he let me go and brought the tray with a bowl of my favourite cereals.

"I am really disappointed in you" Aunty remarked as she wiped her tears. "When I told you to get her tray I meant the one I prepared, she needs her.."

"It's ok aunty I actually wanted to eat something soft and this really is my favourite" I cut her off.

"Do I or don't I know her" Tucker smirked towards his mother, satisfied that he knows me better. I ain't gonna lie either after all this years of not eating anything not only my stomach had shrunk but I am also sure that eating high fibre will be a great start.

"Ok then I will let the two of you be and please Tucker don't get her into trouble" Aunty Mo scolded Tucker. If she knew better then it would be me getting us in trouble but Tucker would take the responsibility. He always would. "I'll just go and check if she is ready to go" with that she left closing the door.

"So you gonna eat this yummy cereal now or do you want your milk monster to kill it" Tucker joked holding up a spoon near my mouth. I smiled as he made strange buzzing sound as if he is feeding a child. Finally I feel safe.

Avy's POV

"Hey not fair you took me by surprise" Tucker wailed laying on the mat after I dodged his punch by side stepping and before he could respond I held his waist and flipped over my head.

"Lesson one always look out" I smirked getting up and offering my hand which he gladly took.

"Hey wanna race till the boarder and back" his face lit up instantly.

"You bet" he smiled getting in position "I'll give you a head start this time ...ready....Go!" And with that we ran, so much for a head huh!

It has been six months since I ran away from Crescent moon pack to Steel claw Pack, which is located about thirty kilometres west. I sometimes wonder how Zander is though I hate to admit it that deep down a part of me regrets running away but considering what he did I knew I made the right decision I mean he did abuse me and who knows what he is thinking when he refused my rejection. After arriving here in Steel Claw pack I really am happy for what I did.

Tucker is the only one along with Aunt Maria who knows that Zander is my mate and how my life was in my former pack. Aunty Mo also told about the deal they were forced to make, which stated that the Steel-claw pack will stay away from the Crescent moon pack are forbidden to take my responsibility, in return the Crescent moon pack will ensure my safety. SO much for safety I guess.

As we were racing towards the boarder Tucker suddenly halted his steps as he stood straight, his expression less face told me that he was on a mind-link. Mind-link is a telepathic channel which links a werewolf with his pack.

"Avy we need to go" Tucker said as panic flashed through his face.

"What happen Tucker? Who was that?" I asked curiosity clear on my face. I stood on high alert looking around for any rouges. If someone had told my weak self that I will one day became a warrior I might have smiled and suggested that person to consult a doctor for delusional diseases, but what were the odds.

"That was Brittney she told me that someone is here from crescent moon pack  asking about you".
