Michelle Pov-

Today was the first day of me teaching pre school. I've always had a love for kids so I decided to become a pre school teacher! Its only been one day but I have found a love for each and every one of the kids. A few kids came in with bad attitudes but by the end of the day they became the sweetest little kids ever. The day came and went really fast. It's only a 3 hour day so if course it was fast. But there are many more to look forward to.

All of the parents came and picked up their kids one by one. Each one gave me a hug then waved goodbye before skipping off to their parents.

I thought everyone left but when I turn around I see one little kid sitting at one of the tables, coloring. I think his name is Theo but I'm not sure. I walk over to the window and see a few cars leaving but nothing else.

I look back to him and see he's deep in his coloring page. I walk over to him and sit in the tiny chair next to him. "Hi there." I say watching him color. "Hi." He says with his sweet little voice ringing an Irish accent.

"You're theo right?" I ask now noticing his name tag. He nods and drops his crayon. "Theo Horan." He says turning his head to me smiling. I smile back then look at his picture. "That's a really pretty picture Theo." I say resting my elbow on the table.

"Thank you." He smiles proudly. "Now let me ask you. Who's picking you up today?" I ask looking back to the window and seeing no cars.

"My uncle." He says picking a red crayon up then coloring more scribbles. I get up and walk over to the contact directory for the kids guardians.

I scan the list and see a "Niall Horan" listed underneath emergency contacts. His relationship to Theo is Uncle so I assume that's who is picking him up today.

I look back to Theo who is reaching over the table to get a new paper. I sigh and walk to the window. No one is there. Pick up was 20 minutes ago.

Might as well make this time useful. I go over to Theo and sit back down next to him. I guess his bonding with the students time comes early. "Theo what are you drawing?" I ask looking at his paper.

"Dinosaur." He says picking it up and showing me. I clap my hands and smile. "Very good." I say as he smiles proudly. He gets up then runs over to the toys. He comes back with a truck then starts "vrooming" it around the table.

"You like that truck?" I ask as he makes the truck flip around an such. He smiles and nods spinning around. I noticed he wasn't talking to anyone today and just sat in the corner playing with the truck. "You can keep it if you want." I say. His face lights up and he runs over and gives me a hug. "Thank you Miss Michelle." He says grinning like crazy. "You are very welcome. As long as tomorrow you promise to talk to some of the other kids too." I say looking down at him. He nods then runs over to a chair and hops on it.

I watch and play around with him for 15 minutes until I see a car pull in. "Is that your uncle?" I ask pointing out the window. "Ni Ni!" He says jumping up and down. I smile and head to the coat rack. I grab his coat then put it on one arm at a time. Just as I do I hear his uncle step in.

Theo takes off and runs to his uncle. I let out a sigh of relief then walk over to them. "Hey buddy! Did you have a good first day?" His uncle Niall asks him as he picks him up. Theo nods then puts his fingers in his mouth.

He has blonde quiffed hair with brown roots. His piercing blue eyes almost stun me. I maintain myself by thinking. "He was late. He was late"

His uncle looks to me then his eyes widen and his jaw drops. "I- um." He stutters scratching his neck then looking away. "Listen I am so sorry I am late. A bunch of crazy girls flagged my car down then I couldn't get out of the area." He says sounding panicked.
