Athy sat infront of her desk.
Her hands shaking from holding the letter before.
'A royal seal?..'
Athy whispered to herself.
'It's probably from Janette.. calm yourself..'
Athy opened the letter.
Her jaws dropped, seeing it's from Claude instead of from Janette.
"Dear Anastasia,
Claude De'alger Obelia, the emperor, invited you to a special tea time. If you are not busy, it'll be held tomorrow morning. Thank you"
The letter said.
'Tea time?.. with the emperor?.. will Janette be there?..'
Athy asked herself again.
Her head became empty all the sudden.
'What has gone into him?..WAIT? Is this my last supper?..'
Her head is already filled with negativity.
Her eyes started to filled up with tears.
"Huh?.. Athy?.."
Lucas eyes widened, seeing Athy scared.
"A-are you okay?.."
He grabbed the letter Athy's gripping on tightly.
'Claude?.. the emperor?..'
Lucas thought.
'Funny.. he didn't have a royal name?..'
Lucas glanced at little Athy who's still crying on the tables.
Himself too don' know what to do.
It could've be a normal tea time or.. it is her last supper. But it could've be a sign to tell Athy to come back too.
"It'll be okay, Athy."
Lucas whispered.
"I'll come with you"
Athy starred at Lucas. Her eyes shines, seeing someone standing by her side.
"What if.. they won't let you in?.."
Athy asked.
"They will.. I guesse"
Lucas said, and scratch the back of his neck.
"You're still young. It's also impossible for your father to join you. At least you need a guard or a guide?"
"I have Lili-"
"A guard at least!"
Lucas cut her sentences before she finished it.
"You're also a kid. Would they believe an idiot kid like you entered the palace and tell them you're my guard?"
Athy asked and raised an eyebrow.
Looking at Lucas who seemed speechless.
"Let's just see tomorrow"
Lucas said and leave the room with a plate of brownies.
"Whatever"
Athy whispered.
But theres something strange in Athy's mind.
Suddenly a small smirk was formed in Athy's lips.
'You silly dork..'
Hah.. today I only make a short chapter, hehe sorry :(
