"Janette.."
Penelope called from the door.

Janette's room was all dark, only the moonlight shines her room.
Penelope found her daughter, sitting in her bed, wide awake, and covered in blanket.

"My sweet Janette.."
Penelope came in and sat at the edge of the bed.

"M-mother?.."
Janette called out, and glanced at the lady who's sitting.

Penelope reached her daughter for a hug. She pat Janette's back and tried to calm her down.

"Listen janette"

A cold wave tickles Janette's back.

"The emperor looks angry.. try to talk and act sweeter around him.. if you want to live"
Penelope said coldly.

Janettes teary eyes starred at Penelope's eyes thats filled with rage and obsession.

"Y-yes.. mother"
Janette replied.

Penelope nods and sighed. She walked away to leave Janette's cold room.

"Mother"
Janette called out.
"I love you"

Penelope look at Janette.
"I love you too"
She smiled.

"Clack"
The door shut.

Later on, the sound of boots started to echoed in the hallway. Penelope was shocked. 'A guard at this late hour?..'
She thought.

But it's actually Claude who was hearing their conversation.
'Talk and act sweetly?..' he thought.
He stopped walking, to see a huge painting. 'Diana?' His eyes widened and shines seeing a pretty fairy infront of him.

"Y-your majesty?.. you're here too"
Penelope smiled.

Claude glanced at Penelope.

"You can go"
He said, coldly.

Penelope looked at what Claude was starring at. The painting of Diana. She narrowed her eyes, and walked away.

'I still remember.. the day I met you..'
Penelope thought

"Ahh.. is there a show here?.."
Penelope asked to Anastacius.
As a replied, he nods.

The villagers made a way for Anastacius and Penelope to walk.
The closer they get to the stage, the louder the music goes.
And the clearer the view of the performance.
It was Diana.

Anastacius's eyes widened. Seeing a pretty maiden, dancing freely yet still following the tone of the music.
The sound of crowds cheering for her was so loud, everybody loved her.

"Pretty.."
Anastacius whispered and smirked.
Penelope who hear and see him gets jealous.

But in the end, lucky for Claude, he win Diana's heart first.

"You stole everything I wanted.."
Penelope cried.

Diana glanced at her, and hold her.
"I-i'm sorry.. lady Penelope"
She said.

"I hope we will be good friends"
Diana smiled.

Few weeks later, Diana got pregnant.
Claude's attention to Diana grew bigger and bigger.

So Penelope decided to use magic, and made her pregnant too.
When the magic worked, she decided to tell Anastacius.
But when she wanted to tell him, she saw Anastacius stabbed by Claude.

Her eyes were shaking in fear, and so is her body.
"A-anastacius?.."
She murmured.

The next thing she knows, Claude was the emperor already.
