Chapter 3
Pagdating ng uwian ay sinundo ako ni Cara sa labas ng classroom ko. Sabay kaming uuwi kasama si Talia. Leo's practice is still on-going kaya pinauna na niya kami. I asked them na may dadaanan lang ako sa SSC Office. Nauna na sila sa parking lot at doon na lang daw ako hihintayin.
Kinatok ko ang pinto at binuksan ito. Ate Ara is talking with Ruby, our SSC treasurer, nilapitan ko sila at bumeso ako kay Ruby at Ate Ara saka kinuha ko ang mga gamit ko. I can hear them talking about the events kaninang umaga. Then, they both sked me if the preparations for the tomorrow meeting in tapos na.

The sound system, the chairs and even the copies na ididstribute namin sa lahat ng aattend ng meeting. And we need to help to prepare the whole Auditorium hall so I will go straight there to ready the materials and wala na akong time na dumaan pa bukas dito sa office kaya kinuha ko na ang mga gamit ko for bukas.
Lumabas ako sa cubicle ko saka nagsalita.
"Mauna na ako." sabi ko. Tumango lang si Ruby saakin. Kinuha namana ni Ate Ara ang bag niya at sumabay na lumabas saakin. "You okay?" tanong ko. She nodded her head.
"I'm sorry sa nangyari kanina." sabi niya. She smiled at me. I clang my arms in her arms. I understand her actions kanina. She is just stress dahil sa abruptly na pagsugod nung lalaki.
"I'm sorry din. If I paid attention sa ibang bagay di sana nangyari ito." sabi ko. She rested her head sa balikat ko. A gesture that she loves doing.
"What's with you and that man?" pag-uusisa niya. Napangiti naman ako sa tanong niya, I jokingly pushed her at natawa naman siya. It is natural na mag-usisa siya or macurious since lagi kaming magkasama.
"Nothing." sabi ko. Ngumiti siya sa akin na parang hindi siya naniniwala saakin at umiling lamang ako. We shared some stories hanggang sa makaabot na kami sa parking lot. I waved goodbye to her at sumakay na ako sa kotse ni Cara. Sa backseat ako umupo at si Talia naman sa passenger seat. Sinuot ko naman ang seatbelt ko.
"I thought matagal ka pa, Ate." sabi ni Talia.
"May kinuha lang ako sa office. Let's go?" pagyayaya ko. Cara started the engine of her car. I wish I can learn how to drive. I think that is a really a convenient skill. Pumikit ako and I listened to the song playing on the radio.
We reached the house and maya maya kumain na kami ng dinner. Wala si Leo because of his basketball training and Tito is doing some overtime work. I also met their sister, Ate Katie, she is funny and beautiful. She told me that she is on training in their company. The way she talks and move has some grace in it. now, I know that they acquired some good genes.
After eating, I stayed at my room. Nagsimula na akong ilabas lahat ng gamit ko sa maleta at kahon. I heard a knock so binuksan ko ito. A maid named Nena told me that Tita Inna asked her to help me organized my stuffs. Habang busy kami, nagkwento siya about sa life niya. She is from Cavite and her chikas are very entertaining. 8 pm na kami natapos and I'm truly grateful for her kasi napabilis ang gawain ko. I opened my lamp and tried to sleep pero I can't.
I have nothing to do so bumaba muna ako. Wala nang tao sa baba kaya I headed straight sa porch. Umupo ako sa hagdan at nagmuni-muni. I wonder if he is home na. Maybe? or maybe he is still outside enjoying his night life. I pushed my thoughts of him aside. Napalingon ako sa likod ko at muntik na akong malaglag sa pagkakaupo ko dahil sa gulat.
Nakita ko kasi si Cara secretly sneaking. She almost yelped when saw me sitting at the stairs. She walked towards me saka nagsalita.
"What are you doing here?" she whispered. I looked at her. She is wearing a haughty dress paired with high stilletos. Her jewelries are glittering under the moon.
