Kion kept trying to escape, he was panting with fear. The scorpion laughed. "Say goodbye, Kion!" "Get away from my best friend!!" Bunga shouted and grabbed the scorpion by the base of his stinger.
"Twende Kiboko!" Beshte said and hit the jackals off him. Kion sat up and panted for a second. "You ok?" They asked worried. "You didnt get stung did you?" Ono asked. "No. Im ok. Thanks to you, Bunga." He said still panting a bit. "What will we do with him?" Fuli asked. "I, I dont know. For now, Bunga keep holding him by his tail, the rest of us will put out this fire." "Ah, for the love of..." Reirei said putting her paw to her face. "Janja! You blew it!" Kiburi snapped. "Hey, not my fault Bunga grabbed him." They then heard a laugh. Kions face lit up. Then Janja was pounced on by the one, the only, Jasiri. "What would you expect him to do, Janja? Just let Kion get stung?" "W-well uh, uh, yeah." The rest of Jasiri's clan came. "Tell us where you need us, Kion." Madoa said. "Thanks, everyone. Jasiri, Madoa take some members to help fight off the Outlanders. I think we're gonna need some members to help us put out this fire." "You got it. Everyone split." Jasiri and her clan attacked the Outlanders. And the Guard and some of her hyenas put out the fire.
After the fire was put out the Outlanders backed down. After they ran off Jasiri came up to him. "Im sorry for your loss, Kion." "We watched the funeral from a bit away." Madoa said. By now Kions ears were completely flat. He tried not to let tears fill his eyes. "Whenever you need help we'll always be here." Jasiri said. "Asante. Thanks Jasiri." "Jasiri, I think we better go back. (Im just gonna make up a name) "Shina is still on her own with Wema and Tunu." Madoa said. "Right. See you later Kion." "Bye Jasiri. Thanks for the help!" The Guard said. "Uh, Kion? What will we do with this guy?" "Let me go now. Or I'll sting all of you." "Ha! You dont scare me! Im immune to venom!" Bunga said. "Maybe we should ask Rafiki?" Kion said. "Ha! Just you wait scorpion! You gon' get it for trying to kill Kion!" "Bunga. Not helping." Fuli said.
"Rafiki!" Bunga shouted from the end of the tree. "Lion Guard?" He questioned. "The scorpion came back and tried to kill Kion." "Wait. Did you say he tried to sting Kion too? Makini asked. "Unfortunately, yes." Rafiki said. "Wanna hear what happened?" Bunga asked. "Sure." Makini said. So Laini came into our lair and said there was a fire in Mizimu grove. When we got there Janja was there. And he said 'Oh, hey, Kion. Miss your Dad do ya? Well dont worry cuz you're next.' And then he got tackled from behind and the scorpion tried to sting him." Bunga said doing his best Janja impression. "Whoa! Sounds scary." Makini said then shuddered. "Trust me, it was." Kion said. "Then Jasiri and her clan came to help us." Bunga said. "Who?" Rafiki asked. "She's a good hyena and our friend." Kion said. "Are you sure you can trust her?" Makini asked. "Oh, yeah, definately." Kion said."We have the scorpion here and he looks to be a Tanzanian red clawed scorpion." Ono said. "Yes Ono, you are correct. Kion, you're lucky Bunga grabbed him when he did. Kion gulped. "W-What should we do with him?" Kion asked. "For the safety of everyone I can only think of one thing. And that is to kill him. "What?" Makini asked in shock. "To be fair, he did kill Kions Dad sooooo." Bunga said. Reluctantly, Rafiki got a rock and smashed the scorpion with it. "The Guard and Makini didnt dare to look. He swept the squashed parts of the scorpion into a gourd. "I'll bury it later." He said to them. "He doesnt even deserve a funeral. He murdered Kions Dad." Bunga said. "Mind if I take a walk Guys?" "Sure, Kion. Beshte said. After he left Fuli said, "Uh, Bunga? You're....not really.....helping Kion." "Whaddya mean, Fuli?" Fuli sighed. "Bunga, he's trying to cope with the loss of his Dad. But you keep bringing it up! Why do you think he's going for a walk?" "Because he wants to?" "No, Bunga. Everytime you bring up Simba, he keeps thinking about him. And it makes him sad cuz he's not here anymore. The best thing you can do is stop bringing it up." "The cheetah is right. You know he's trying not to blame himself. You know he's stuggling to get passed this." "But Im only saying whats true!" "But you need to stop talking about it! At least in front of Kion. You know he's devastated. Heck, he even sang a song about it!" "Eh, true." "Please, Bunga. Stop saying it in front of Kion." "I'll try." "Good. The last thing we need, is an even more emotionally broken Kion."
