Sorry for not updating for a couple months, I've been quite busy. I'll try to be quicker and update more often. The person that was working on this with me randomly stopped talking to me so I guess I'll be writing this by myself, unless any of you would like to and if you have any questions or comments, my KIK is Vriskers8 I guess I'll get writing now. :D Hope you enjoy!
~Gamzee's POV~
The bell rang, I grabbed my books and walked out of the classroom door. The halls were flooded with people, I was taller than most of them. I walked to my locker and threw my books in. I didn't know where I was going so I followed the crowd. My stomach was growling at me. The crowd flowed through a corridor and into a large open room with tables, it looked like some ladies were serving food. I glanced around at the tables to see where I was going to sit. I spotted Tavros sitting alone at a table. He saw me look at him, he gave me a friendly smile and wave. I waved back then got in the line to get my food.
I walked to the table where Tavros was sitting and grabbed a seat across from him. He had a PB&J sandwich.
"Hi Gamzee," he said with a perk in his voice.
"What's up Tavbro?" I asked staring into his eyes.
"Nothing much, just trying to uh, drag through the day so I can get home," he was looking around the cafeteria curiously. "Ooh Gamzee! I know! You should come over after school, my brother can uhh, pick us both up, I'm sure my dad wouldn't mind, he's always telling me to make friends! What do you say?" He was so cute when he got excited.
"That would be great, I've got nothing to do anyway," The bell rang, I was pretty sure that signaled the end of lunch. "Meet me by the flagpole after school."
"Uhh okay." We waved by to each other and we were off splitting our ways again.
~Time Skip~
~Tavros's POV~
I walked out of the school with a girl I was partners with in biology, her name was Aradia. I waved goodbye to Aradia and walked toward the flagpole where a tall, black-haired figure stood leaning against the flagpole, it was Gamzee! He started walking towards me and stopped when we were close enough to talk to each other.
"Hi Gamzee," I said while looking up at him. "My brother, Rufioh, should be getting here soon."
"Awesome. I bet he's cool," Gamzee said, he was right. My brother was pretty cool.
"Yep he's-" I was cut off by a girl's voice. It was Vriska.
"Hiiiiiiii Tavros. Who's your friend? Or is he just here to protect you and keep you from crying all the time?" Vriska cackled. It was so odd how she always stretched her words for what seemed like eight seconds.
"Uhh, hi Vriska. This is Gamzee, he's my friend," I tried not to act like I hated her because I was around Gamzee.
"Oh Tavros, I didn't know you had friends!" Gamzee walked up to her and slapped her in the face, knocking her to the ground. I was surprised! She yelped when she fell. "What the hell! I was just trying to have fun!" She exclaimed. I knew she wasn't trying to have fun, I knew she was bullying me. I heard a beep and glanced over in the direction of the noise, it was Rufioh.
~Gamzee's POV~
I had just slapped a girl. It was like I couldn't control myself. She was bullying Tav but, it was still unnecessary. I heard a beep and looked at the car who made the noise. There was an older boy who looked to be about seventeen driving, he also kind of looked like Tavros. I assumed it was his brother.
"C'mon Gamzee," Tavros took me by the hand and started practically dragging me to the car until I started walking. His hands were extremely soft. His older brother rolled down the window of the car.
"Who's this?" He questioned Tavros.
"Rufioh this is my friend Gamzee, uhh, Gamzee this is my older brother Rufioh," Tavros said. I looked at Rufioh. He had tan skin and his hair was spiky and dyed red.
"Hello," I said smiling at him.
"Hi," he sounded unamused.
"Can he come over? Dad's always telling me to, uhh, make friends," Tavros said whining a little bit.
"Sure..." Rufioh answered Tavros trailing off.
Tavros and I got in the backseat. Rufioh fixed the mirrior so that he could see us when he looked up at it. We were off in the car riding to the Nitram household. I was a little bit nervous. Tavros and I occasionally exchanged glances. The car ride was quiet. We pulled up in a driveway and Rufioh turned the car off.
