"No kidding," I muttered, then spoke louder. "Yeah, I'm a girl. And you," I growled at Chase. "Have a very bad taste in Luna's."
"HOW DARE YOU BITCH! DON'T EVER TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT!"
The dumbass named Kylie ranted on, but Chase just stared at me.
"Don't I," he started, interrupting Kylie. "Know you, from somewhere?"
"You mean you don't remember me?" I asked dryly. "How fitting. I'll give you a hint. Your Luna didn't die. She ran away."
I flipped my hair, and strutted back to my bike, yelling an I'll be back soon over my shoulder. But as I left, I heard my mom yell my name. Just before a rouge jumped out of the trees.
