Sprout /Jaeyong/

Chapter 1

"Please remember to be safe and make friends, you guys, Taeyong I know it's hard but socialize if you can and Haechan help Taeyong when he needs it, Okay?" called a voice from down the hall that belonged to a short brown haired man

"Yes, Taeil hyungie" replied a warm and cheery voice.

Today is Taeyong's and his brother Haechan's first day at NCT High School, Taeyong didn't know what to expect, transferring schools in the middle of a semester was a very hard thing to do but it was the only choice they had. Taeyong looked over at his overly excited brother, Haechan was they total opposite of Taeyong, he was a literal ray of sunshine his outfits screamed warm and friendly, while Taeyong opted for his oversized hoodies that were most, if not all dark and monotone colors. "Boys come eat your breakfast before you go to school" they heard their oldest brother,Taeil, shout.
Taeil has always been the head of the household he was the most caring and loving brother. Taeil being the owner of a cafe called The Bean Sprout had to rush out of the apartment to open up his shop, not forgetting to cook his brothers breakfast before leaving.

Trying pulled his black hoodie over his pink hair and frail body as he heard, "Hyung, lets go or we will be late" Haechan who was wearing a denim jacket over a white shirt, looked at his brother with a smile that could melt peoples hearts. Taeyong nodded to the younger and smiled back. Taeyong's past high school experience wasn't a great one, he only had one friend and it took him forever to gather up the courage to talk to the other, who he might not see ever again.
Haechan knew his hyung was nervous to start at a new school so he had to be strong for himself and his Taeyong hyung. "the past cant follow me here so I need to start fresh, don't do anything to get noticed, just lay low." Taeyong said internally, he pulled his backpack strap, pushed his glasses up, and walked slowly towards the campus. Once they arrived at the campus Haechan told Taeyong he was gonna find the bathroom and touch up his hair, Taeyong smiled weakly and nodded, "Don't worry hyung, I will see you during lunch" he hugged the elder and walked away, Taeyong knew that Haechan wouldn't have any trouble fitting in, haechan was a people person and everyone that met the younger sibling got along with him well, sadly the same couldn't be said about him, Haechan was everything Taeyong wasn't, Taeyong was always the quiet and shy type, he was always in the background, and he didn't mind. Taeil and Haechan always told him to step out of his comfort zone but that was easier said than done and the one time he did, it was the biggest mistake of his life.

The campus was big and very confusing, Taeyong was walking with no direction trying to find the admission's office. His thoughts went to Haechan "I wonder if he already made friends? He most likely did" he smiled meekly at the thought of his brother and walked to the school doors.

To say Taeyong was nervous would be an understatement, he was never used to being the center of attention, he would always rely on Haechan's presence to absorb all the attention. Unfortunately for him Haechan wasn't with him at the moment and for some reason the thought of everybody looking at him weighed heavily on his shoulders, "maybe no one will notice me...." he thought out loud, but it's not just everyday that someone transfers to NCT High School especially during the middle of a semester.
