As the tires of the airplane touched the surface of the run way at Haneda International Airport, Ray got excited and looked out the window, then looking at his friends, River and Skye. "We made it! We're finally in Japan!" It had been a long flight, but in the end it would be worth it. The three teens were exchange students from a high school in America, on their way to UA High, the most prestigious school for quirk using students in the world. During the landing, River was- less than thrilled about the flight. She was clinging to the seat, breathing heavily as Skye did her best to calm down the girl. Ray just laughed at River as she glared at the winged boy. "You look so funny, River!" Ray teased, resulting in a grimace from the other blonde. "I do not! When will this tin can stop?!" She shouted. Ray rolled his eyes and laughed as the plane came to a halt. The three teens grabbed their bags and left the plane. As soon as they were in open air, Ray stretched his wings and flew up. "ahhh, it feels good to stretch out these babies!" He said, landing on the ground with a thud.  Skye and River chuckled as a crisp autumn breeze passed by. It had just become September, just passed River's 18th birthday.

As the three entered the rather large airport, they looked around in awe. "This place is so much bigger than the airports back home." Skye said, as her little puppy, Mocca, stuck her head out of the backpack and woofed. River and Ray nodded in agreement as they petted the puppy. "Now where is Hawks? He was supposed to meet us here." River asked, looking around for the other winged male. Ray sighed and looked around "I'll go find him, watch my stuff will ya?" He asked as he plopped his bags on the floor, and flying away. As he flew through the large building, he groaned. "Where is that slacker?" He asked, looking around until his gaze fell on the red-winged male. Sitting at a fast food counter. Of course. Ray landed and sighed. "Hawks, what are you doing?!" He asked, less than happy that the hero had forgotten about them. The hero shrugged "Guess I got too caught up eating these chicken nuggets." He said casually. Ray rolled his eyes and yanked Hawks away and taking off. "Come on, chicken man." He said with a laugh. Hawks stuttered and watched the young male. "You have chicken wings too!" He shouted as he flew after.

After navigating through the crowds, the group of 4 left the airport. Hawks and Ray smirked, as Ray grabbed Skye, and Hawks grabbed River. They took off fast, laughing as the two girls they were holding screamed and kicked their legs. "CAN'T WE JUST TAKE A CAR?!" River and Skye screamed, trying not to look down. Hawks laughed "Why use wheels when you have wings that work much better?" He asked as they flew farther from the airport. The sun was setting, and the city lights were visible from high up, looking almost like stars, twinkling in the sky. Ray smiled as they landed at the dorms of the third years, River and Skye stumbling to a wall. Hawks and Ray just smiled. Hawks bid the three farewell, as they walked into the commons. There were a few students in there, sitting on the couches, talking, or laughing. The three teens smiled and looked at each other, walking to their respective dorms and setting up. Ray however, flew out of his window and sat on the roof. He gazed at the stars, then looking down at his phone. It was late by his standards, gazing at the time as he opened his photos. He smiled at the sight of the three teens together, when they were just freshmen in high school. He couldn't believe they were here now. All of them, together until the very end.
