"God dammit I should've stayed with the group."
You muttered to yourself.
You stepped backwards, into a muddy patch in the dirt, and felt yourself slipping down the hill.

"AHHHHH WHAT THE HELL!"
You screamed as you desperately tried to grab onto something, in order to stop slipping further down the hill.

You finally felt yourself hit the hard ground, and then everything went black.

A blurry image of your mother appeared in your head.
It made you dizzy and caused a sickly pit in your stomach. She only whispered a soft "wake up" from the distance...

But that wasn't possible-
She was-

"(y/n)! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"
You felt someone violently shake you.
You opened your eyes and saw...Osamu?

"Oh, thank god you're awake, how the hell did you get down here?"
He asked.
He was sitting on the ground next to you, the sun was still shining through the trees, so you knew you hadn't passed out for too long.

"How did you- what are you doing here..?"
you asked weakly.

You felt sharp pain in your left arm, and your leg felt numb.

"I wandered away from my group I guess, then I heard a loud scream, and then I found you."
He explained, his eyes looked worried.

You slowly tried to sit up.
"Ack!"
You winced in pain, you could barely move your hand.

"Hey! Easy, you don't have to get up so quickly."
Osamu attempted to hold you up.
You felt urself fall back down, your attempt to sit up was unsuccessful.
But instead of landing on the dirt, you landed on Osamu's lap.

He looked down at you, his cheeks were bright red.
Your eyes went wide.

"OH GOD! I'm so sorry, my arms can't hold me up right now."
You said nervously.

"It's fine just here let me help you-
Osamu grabbed your shoulders and sat you up right, so you were leaning against him.

Osamu was sweating, and he had dirt on his cheek.
His hair was a mess, and he looked exhausted.
This was very unpleasant situation to be in.

"Listen, I can carry you back onto the trail, if you can't walk properly right now. The teachers are gonna freak out if we don't make it to the top the hill soon."
Osamu said, he seemed to be looking back up at the trail.

"No! I mean- I don't want to cause you so much trouble ok? I can walk."
You replied.

"But (y/n), It's no trouble at all."
Osamu added.
You both made sudden eye contact.
His dark eyes were staring at you intently.
You quickly looked away.
"I really don't want him to carry me..."
You thought, but Osamu looked set on his decision.

"Alright, I guess we should head up then?"
You asked, unsure of how he was going to carry you.

Osamu nodded.
He helped you up and made sure there wasn't too much pain in your leg.

Then he carefully picked you up into his arms.

He made it seem easy, and his arms felt warm.
