Chapter 40//

Last day of our Intramurals/Foundation week. Next week back to normal na at simula nanaman ng isang quarter sa school. We have a lot planned today. Alumni will be coming to the school for the games. It's time for the Alumni versus Varsity games. Everyone who is ever a student of our school is welcome to visit us on the last day of the Foundation week. Frankly, besides the pageant (which will begin at 1PM), this is the highlight of the whole week. 

Finally, makakalaro na rin ako.

I am on my way to our school. I am wearing a shirt that says Varsity in front and then Volleyball at the back, my volleyball shorts, ankle length socks and my favorite volleyball shoes. I have my jersey in my gym bag along with a change of clothes. Our game is pretty early mga 9am ata, kami first game bago magbasketball kaya nagpprepare na ako agad. I still need to warm up. Parang ang tagal na simula nung last ako naglaro. 

I am little bit sad because I'd be going in alone, Blaine is not here anymore since he already moved out. I kinda miss our morning jams, well actually I just pick the music and he sings and you know I love his singing voice. The car ride over is a little quiet since I really dont feel like putting on some tunes. It will just make me feel his absence a little bit more. I just sat in silence as I drove to school.  

When I arrived, the school was already loud, music was blasting from the speakers kahit maaga pa.. Maybe they're trying to hype us up on today's activities. I think may assembly kami then mag game na agad kami. 

I can't wait to see my Alumni friends! Ate Isha the team captain before me and mga iba naming kateam dati na grumaduate na, they all said they'll be here. I know Vince will be here too. Hopefully Mig. They are basketball varsities after all. 

Seph too. I know he wouldn't miss the opportunity to go back to our school and play ball once again. 

I don't know what to expect from him. I don't even know if I want him around after what happened to Quen and him. 

I don't know how he'll react now na kami na. 

I don't know if I should even care.

Of course I care. I still do. He's my oldest friend. Hindi naman bigla-bigla mawawala yung care ko sa kanya. Sa kanila ni Pia. They are my very first friends. Hindi madali bitawan yun kahit anong mangyari. 

I just hope he'll be okay with it. 

Since the school will surely be crowded, I made sure I secure a parking space closest to the school gate. Mahirap na kapag sabay-sabay lahat nagsialisan mamaya, sa dami ng tao. I parked near the auditorium kung saan gaganapin mamaya yung pageant.

Speaking of, I should really wish Quen a good luck. Pia too. I know things has been rough between us but I know she did it because of me. Ako naglagay ng pangalan niya bilang isa sa mga candidates when we were picking our muse so I owe it to her to help her. I know Jamie and Yassi feels the same way so maybe kalimutan muna namin ang alitan.

After parking I walked all the way to our room. The whole school is buzzing. Excited ata talaga sila. I heard a lot of good lucks from my acquaintances na nakakasalubong ko. I was walking towards our building ng may marinig akong malakas na sitsit. It was coming from my right. I saw Vince and Mig coming out of Mig's car. Nakapark sila sa tapat ng building namin.

"VINCE!!!! MIG!!!!!!" I said I immediately ran towards them and gave them both a big hug. To be honest, sobrang nakakamiss 'tong mga jowa (or ex) ng mga tropa ko. Halos sa lahat ng gala naming apat lagi silang nandun, mahaba haba na rin ang napagsamahan namin netong mga 'to. Madami daming celebrations at outing na din. I definitely miss them.
