Miracle

Its Inevitable

The room felt more intense than ever, the doctor gulped slowly and placed Miracle in front of him "Her name is Miracle" he said stroking Miracles hair. Miracle was shaking nervously and tears were streaming down her face.

Missy raised an eyebrow "Really?" She said with a devilish grin

"This isnt a game Missy" the doctor said sternly

Missy raised an eyebrow "Oh c'mon doctor do you really expect me to believe she is my daughter? That's impossible" She said pointing at Miracle

Miracle felt as if she had been stabbed in her hearts, hot tears streamed down her now pale face, she ran out the room.The doctor glared at Missy "See what you've done!"

Missy rolled her eyes "She's probably running back to her real parents"

The doctor huffed "WE are her parents!" He exclaimed handing Missy a photo "See"

Missy looked at the photo, it was her and Miracle "Impossible" she said staring at the doctor

"Nothing is impossible with time travel" he said tossing her Miracles bracelet, it was identical to the one Missy  wore. He walked up to Missy and cupped her face "That is our little girl". The touch of the doctors hands sent chills through Missy's body, she had missed him so much. Missy looked at the baby then at the doctor "I wanted to tell you" she said with a sad look in her eyes "but I didn't know how you would react. Im so sorry".

The doctor knew she was talking about leaving him "No need to be sorry" he said giving her a tight hug "But right now there's a little girl who needs us, who needs you" he said breaking the hug.

They walked into the Tardis hand in hand, the doctor was glad to finally be with Missy he missed her dearly. Missy was carrying the baby with her free hand, she set her down on the couch, the doctor raised an eyebrow "Wont she wonder off?" He asked

Missy smiled "No, she always does as she's told"

The doctor knocked on Miracles door "Miracle sweetie, are you in there?"

"Go away!" She yelled

"Honey, please let me in" he asked

"I said leave me alone!" She yelled throwing something at the door

Missy chuckled "She's a feisty one" she said from behind the doctor

"Your the one who raised her" he replied

"Miracle, I know your angry right now, we just need to talk about it" he said turning the door knob but it was still locked

"Im not angry I'm disappointed" she said softly

"Why are you disappointed?" The doctor asked curiously, she didn't answer

Missy tapped the doctor on the shoulder "Why dont you let me try" she said pulling him aside

"No offense dear but I think your the last person she wants to talk to right now" he told her

"I supposedly raised her, so dont you  think I know how to get through to her?" she said reassuringly. The doctor nodded and let her try, she cleared her throat "Miracle open the door" Miracle didn't say a word

The doctor sighed "I have a feeling it's going to be a while before she opens the door" he said walking to the main portion of the Tardis, Missy hesitated but eventually followed him.

They sat on the sofa with baby Miracle, the doctor looked at her with nothing but love, he was given a chance to be with his little girl and he wasn't going to waste any time. He picked the baby up and rocked her gently "She is so cute" he said staring into her light blue eyes.

"This is all my fault" Missy said sitting down next to him.

"It isn't" the doctor said still rocking baby Miracle

"It is" her eyes were soft "how could I have not known who she was" tears formed in her eyes.

The doctor set the baby down who was now completely asleep "Missy.." he stared into her deep blue eyes and cupped her hands "Noone could've known, I didn't believe it either, but what is important is that now you know and you can do something about it" he leaned in and pressed his lips against her, he longed for the feeling of their lips together. Her soft lips sent chills up his spine and his neck hairs stood on end. "I love you" he said glad to be able to say those words to her once more

"Me too" she said standing up

"Where you going?" He asked

"Im going to makes things right" she said with a look of determination on her face.

She knocked on the door gently "Miracle dear, please let me in"

" Go away" she said softly " I just want to be alone right now, you dont have to worry about me"

" No, I do have to worry about you, it doesn't matter that you're from the future you're still my daughter and I care about you no matter what" Missy said pressing her head against the door.

Miracle opened the door, her eyes were red and puffy "Do you mean it?" She asked drying her tears

"Oh course I do!" She exclaimed giving Miracle a tight hug, Miracle smiled happy to be with her mother. Missy broke the hug "Look at you, you're all grown up" she said with a wide smile.

Miracle and Missy walked to the library so they could talk. "Im so sorry, where did it happen?" Missy asked

"Germany" Miracle said finishing her story

They doctor walked in "Look at my two beautiful ladies" he said happily "What are you talking about?"

"How mum died" Miracle said head down

"Oh" he said "How about we get something to eat" he said trying to lighten

"Sounds great! Im starving" Missy said standing up. Miracle stayed sitting, "Aren't you hungry?" Missy asked. Miracle stayed in place, Missy bent down to look Miracle eye to eye. Her eyes were closed and her face was expression less "Honey, Whats wrong?" Missy asked in panic, she pressed her head againts Miracles chest to see if she was breathing. "Doctor!" Missy called "Come quick"

"What is it?" He asked in concern

"She isn't breathing" Missy said looking at Miracle

A wave of panic rushed through the doctor, he checked her pulse "I can barely feel a pulse" he said putting two finger on the inside of her wrist. He shook Miracle "Miracle sweetie, say something" he asked desperately

"Doctor" Missy said "Do you think its happening?"

The doctors face grew pale "No. It cant."

Missy put her hands on his shoulders "Dear, its inevitable. This is what happens when you cross your own timeline for an extended period of time"

"No" the doctor denied it "She cant. I wont let her." He said tears in his eyes

"You cant stop it" she said cupping his face "She has to"

The doctor was know sobbing "But she cant... she cant just die"
