Shellington walked into his old lab turning on the lights

"Wow.. I never realized how much I missed this place."

As he set his bag down beside his bed and set everything up

After what seemed like hours he finished redecorating his room in just half an hour

   "Cheeba?"

Shellington turned around almost recognizing that voice

It was turnip and the vegimals

His long lost friends

Tears wellied up in his eyes as he kneeled to the ground

"Yes.. I'm back" as he held out his arms and they cried as they jumped into his arms hugging him tightly

   "I missed you too.."

After five minutes of cuddling and catching up shellington had something else to do

"I've gotta get to the sick bay I'll be right back!"

He then opened his door and walked out into the halls, the steel cold floor creaked as he made his way over to the sick bay

He stared at the penguin at what he seemed to be doing was puzzles

Shellington cleared his throat to get his attention but instead he screamed and flipped his puzzles over

Looks like I traumatized him.. poor kid

"Oh hey shellington.. uh what brings you here?" With nervousness in his voice

"I.. I owe you an apology." As shellington made his way closer

"An apology? But we were the ones that-"
"I know but anger clouded my mind. And I should've known better than to neglect my own needs you were just trying to tend to my wounds so I'm sorry"

As he stared at the floor

   "Of course I forgive you-"

Suddenly the octo alert sounded

"Octonauts to the launch bay" captain barnacles demanded

Peso and shellington looked at each other nodding before rushing to the launch bay

"Octonauts kwaziis gup got stuck again"

Shellington immediately stopped listening and started making his way over his room since he never gets called on missions-

"Shellington and peso into the GupC"
"What?! Me but isn't this mission quote on quote dangerous?"
   "We may need extra strength"

Shellington smiled as he hopped onto the gup feeling full filled

This time the captain let him drive and he was absolutely flawless! He didn't even leave a mark on the gup nor took his eyes off the waters

                       *timeskip*

"Good job today octonauts especially you shellington-"
"Ah it was nothing captain just doing my j-

"Ocean watcher!'' A few sea creatures fangirls as they said his old name

"Why arent you in uniform ocean watcher?"

Shellington grit his teeth at his old name

"Ah right.. um listen I uh.. my names shellington not ocean watcher and I'm an octonaut"

The creatures looked at each other and back at shellington

"Is that why your weak all of a sudden?" One of them says sternly

   "Excuse me?"
"Ever since you left us nearly a hundred of us died and you let it happen?"
   "I.. I didn't mean to.. I just-'"
"Just wanted to become weaker? We need ocean watcher! Not a worthless person like you''

Shellington sighed in sadness as he became defenseless again

"Ay! Don't talk like that to my friend!" Kwazii stated as he stood in front of him
"Yeah that's down right mean!" Peso added standing next to him

   "Guys you don't have to-"

"Don't. Ever. Call. Him. Weak" barnacles stated angrily as he got in their faces

They became frightened

"Shellington is one the of most valuable members of the octonauts and hes not weak hes not useless he is  perfect the way he is. Is. That. Clear.?!"

"Y-yes sir.." and they swam away

"You guys didn't have to do that"

"Of course we had to" barnacles said
"Your our friend now too, and friends stand up for each other

Shellington smiled brightly as he hugged everyone

           *back at the octopod*

Everyone was in the HQ staring at the jellyfish bloom fascinated by it

"Would you look at the size of that one!" Shellington stated as he pointed at the larger one

"Its good to have you back shellington"

As he put an arm around him

    "Its good to be back"

As everyone hugged shellington
