TODAY is the day of the read through! i am playing jess (009) in a show called 'stranger things.' personally, i havent watched it, but ive heard its really good. it might have been a good idea though, to ya know, find out the premise and shit. honestly, im not sure what to expect. i have never worked with a cast before, so we'll see. i grab a banana, and get into the limo.
the limo door opens. i must be really late, since the paparazzi beat me here. damn, i guess thats what i get for sleeping in, my mother thought that staying up till 4 was a terrible idea, but i did anyway. :) the paparazzi asks me the same questions everytime. 'gemma! is it true you are dating someone?' 'gemma! we heard you hate your fans, is that true?' seriously people. hm. maybe ill start a little drama ;). i tell them, "i might be dating someone, who knows." 'who is it?' 'is it joshua bassett?' i almost laugh out loud. sometimes i enjoy being in the spot light. i can create drama, rumors, of course its not harmful, but still. its fun.
i finally got away from the paparazzi. the door is opened for me by a security guard. everyone is staring at their phones. i figure since im here, i have some time, i might as well post.

i am trying to reply to comments when someone comes into the room yelling "im here! im here!" "thanks for showing up today noah," another girl says. everyone ignores her comment. "okay, first lets do some team building exercises, follow me," a crew member tells us. alright gemma, dont make a fool of yourself. they lead all of us into a room, its a conference room. strange, but ok. everyone sits down and i end up sitting next to two girls. "most of you guys already know eachother, but lets review! you start," they point to a boy sitting across from me. "hey guys, im gaten" "im finn" "joe" "hi! im natalia!" "im noah" they go so fast i dont even realize its almost my turn "millie" "hi! im gemma!" i didnt screw up! thank the lord. "sadie" "caleb" ... more people say their names but im not really listening. its hot in here. after everyone is done, they group us off.
i got grouped with millie, sadie, and gaten. millie and sadie are chatting while gaten is staring at his shoes, i decide to say, "hey, your gaten right?" he laughs and says "yeah. that would be me! wait a minute, gemma, as in gemma aniston?" i glance at my watch. wow it took 34 minutes for someone to realize who i am. look im not trying to be cocky, im just stating the facts. i get bored alot. so, i set a stopwatch to see how long it takes for me to be discovered as jennifer anistons daughter. i love my mom, but she needs to not be that famous. gaten snaps me back to reality. "...um gemma?" "sorry! i promise your not boring, i was just thinking," im not lying, hes not boring. "whatcha thinking about?" he asks me. i respond, "oh i was thinking about how..." i get cut off by millie, asking me; "so gemma, hows it going?" "awesome, i love being here and talking to everyone" i put on a smile, i consider myself a master of faking emotions, by the way. "cool! anyway im having a sleepover with some of the cast, and i was wondering if you would maybe wanna go?" millie suprised me, i havent been to a sleepover since last year, before alexis moved to florida. "uh, sure! when and where?" "whats your number, ill text you." she whips out her phone and i give her my number. moments later, im added to a group chat.
