IVANA LEANED ON HER HAND and looked out the window at the beautiful scenery that went by. For a moment she thought about the beauty of the world, but then soon reality then hit. The world wasn't that beautiful. Interrupting her thoughts, came along a train conductor checking for tickets. He walked to her seat and she pulled out the ticket in her pocket and the ticket that sat in Munroe's cardigan. She tried as softly as she could, Munroe's slumber looked peaceful and she didn't want to wake her. She gave the conductor the tickets and he clipped them and gave them back.

Ivana went to relaxation once again, and closed her eyes. Wishing she could fall into a deep sleep like Munroe, but she couldn't. Instead, her mind created daydreams of laying in a bed, in an open house that sat next to a beach. With Munroe by her side, complaining about how she could never find rich ice cream.

"Why do you dream about me so much Ivana?" the dream Munroe asked her.

Ivana thought about it for a while, and looked at the dreamt purple sea, and felt her hands through the blue thick sand,"I don't know, I guess, it's because.. you're my bestfriend."

"Or it's because you like me..." Munroe's dreamy voice echoed through the cracking walls of Ivana's dream state and she soon woke up. She rubbed her eyes, and looked around at her surroundings, her eyes landed on the still sleeping Munroe. She never thought about liking her until now, she never really thought about liking anyone. She was just alone with friends. The more she thought about liking Munroe, the more she liked the idea of it. Munroe and Ivana had a nice ring to it. She had a smirk plastered on her face, but then realized she wasn't alone on the train and that she might look weird, She wiped the smirk off her lips and pulled her feet into the seat, hugging her knees.

She stared at Munroe some more, thinking of different scenarios that could play out in her head with both of them. Ivana was shy, but she wasn't afraid to tell anyone the truth. The truth will always come out eventually. The darkness outside seemed to drape over the ground like fog, and as the train moved it seemed to move fast.

Ivana missed her family immediately after that. She never had been away from her family for too long, and a trip like this scared her but encouraged her to be independent. She then thought: Could I really make it on my own? That thought sent a shiver down her spine. But then she thought again...

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad with Munroe.
