You and I are different
Broken homes don't welcome neighbors
I search for new spaces to visit but there are no rooms that I lay
When there is love it is foreign
I'll return to the hole in my heart that feels safe
Isolation is my creation but I wish to not stay
I want you, I need you but you come from a land far away
Though I am so tainted I adore you anyway
Yet you are not like me
How could you feel the same way?
Its the end of this chapter, every wound on display
You cry for assurance but one will leave either way
For I shall polish myself
Clear my mind of your face
Finally
I choose to live and not to wait
