Locked Out (Lapidot Human AU)

~ Eight ~

Lapis PoV

We were so close, our faces inches away. I looked down at her lips, and back up meeting her beautiful green eyes.
"Lapis i-" she began but never finished. Her face grows bright red and my parents barge in. Peridot flew off of me.
"Hey guys! You wanna go out for icecream?!" I couldn't help but groan at the unsatisfying defeat of not kissing Peridot. Peridot forcefully smiled at my parents and nodded. I looked around. "I guess so.." I stand up heading downstairs, trying not to let this bother me.
"Lappy are you okay?" My mum comes up behind me, I let out a deep breath. "Yeah I'm fine mum" I didn't want a full conversation so I just continued to the car. I hop in the back seat looking out the window, it was a really wholesome view seeing Peri and my parents getting along and talking. 'I wanna marry that girl' I gave up denying my feelings, i knew i really liked Peridot, and i was so close to expressing it today, to telling her. Peridot and my parents got in the car but i just needed my own space to calm. I roll down the car window and watch the mountain view as the car moves.
"Lazuli are you doing okay?" I hear Peridot's voice, i turn to her and smile. "Yeah, just thinking" she nods.
"So whats on your mind?" She asked again. I sigh i didn't want to tell her... I need to wait for the right moment
"Ben and Jerry's icecream" I smirk and nudge her. She tilts her head. "Which flavour?" She squinted her eyes. "Chocolate and brownie?" That was my number one favourite. She grins. "Good choice Lazuli"

We got our icecream and I was happy.

"Sooo how about continuing that movie?" Peridot nudged me giving me a goofy grin as if she was planning something. I nod quickly and we race to my bedrooom. "I bet I can get there first" she smirks, I push her back. "NU-UH nerd!" I reach the door but before i can open it Peridot pushes me to the floor. I grunt at the landing. She just sticks her tongue out. "UGH PERIDOT!" I 'calmly' walk in and place my icecream down safely. I scream and jump on Peridot. "Ahhh! boney butt!" I evil laughed moving my butt more. "FYI Peri, My butt is Thicc not boney" I wink at her and she blushes.
"Pft yeah, i know" she mumbles.
"What was that?" I raise a brow and she looks away.
"Nothing, i said get off"
"Uuhhhuh, suuureee ya did" I flick her nose and got up. She frowns at me.
"Whatever, i know what i said" she got up from her space. 'Where is she going?' She left to go downstairs... "what just happened" I shook it off as nothing and continued watching the movie. About 20 minutes later i heard cans clinging outside my door. "Peridot? Is that you?" I head towards the door "yeah can you help?" I look at the innocent face she had and then down at the bag filled with, "Alcohol?" She smirked. "It can be fun" she waddled into the room placing the bag down and grabbing a can of beer. "I also have a full bottle of vodka?" She winks. I am so confused on where Peri got this, as well as why she got it and why she wants to drink it... but "Im down" I yell and grab a can, and drink it. "Sooo how did you get this?" I ask her, she smirked and tapped her nose twice, i rolled my eyes. "Curiosity is a little bitch" she smirked.

---10 cans and 5 shots later---

"Laa~pis have i *hic* told you about *hic* this Girl~" Peridot's drunken thoughts had been coming out now, as for mine... not so much. Im going to regret something. "No~ tell me~" I whisper inching closer to her. She grabbed my shirt and whispered in my ear, her hot breath sent a shiver down my back. "I-its jerry" I begin to laugh hard, "wh-at?" I gasp laughing. She smiles proudly. "Who's that?" Hiccup. I ask her holding her shirt now. Instead of whispering in her ear I whispered to her neck, she squirmed as i nibbled her neck. "Ngah, je~rry the pigeon~" she pointed out the window. My fuzzy vision made out the shape of a pigeon. "Pft" i let out a snort, covering my mouth. Peridot laughed, "Lapsi Snoted" she sloppishly said, i don't know what was funnier, the fact she cant speak or her laugh. It went quiet. "Lapis i i really gott*hic* gotta tell you somethig" she slurred and leaned in, falling on top of me. "Peri~ you are ho-" she shushed me
"Shut up *hic*, i really like you snd you ars a kewl cat" she pats my head and her lips met with mine. I wish I was sober. It hurt knowing that she'll forget about this.
"no Peridot, your *hic* drunk." I move away and push her off of me gently. She gets up. "Drunken thoughts are sober feelings!" She frowned and stumbled out the bedroom door. All i heard was a few thumps and my mother questioning Peridot. "Peridot? Are you drunk? Whats that on your neck? is lapis drunk?" I hadn't heard Peridot's reply but i did hear my mother storming upstairs. 'Uh oh'
"Lapis Garnet Lazuli!" I'm in deep trouble.
"Mother~" I hum back and smile sheepishly. I scream at myself.
"Where did you get the Alcohol?!" She storms towards me, grabbing it out of my hand. I only shrugged.
"I am disappointed-" she stops and thinks, i confusingly look at her. "RUBY!" She. Was. Furious.
My mum barged in the door, looking nervous as ever. "You actually gave them alcohol?!" She complained, i then looked at my mum. "Well, they aren't being Irresponsible, they are just watching movies..." she shy's away, my mothers eyes turn black, she takes a deep breath and sighs, holding the bridge of her nose. "Peridot fell down the stairs and asked for lasangua?" I couldn't help but snort and laugh at the thought of it. Both my mums looked at me, my laugh seemed contagious and my mother let out a small smirk and my mum laughed. "Mummy- I'm sorrey, i won't do it again" i clutched to my mothers legs acting like 6 year old me, i could see her face turn to a sad smile and she rubbed my head. "I just don't want you doing something youll regret, baby" she kissed my forehead. I forgot how much love i felt around my parents, i was very lucky. I let out a few tears.
"Lapis, are you okay?" My mum came towards me hugging me. "I just really *hic* love you both and *hic* im very lucky" i sadly smile at them. They smile and kiss each side of my head.
"We love you too, be careful, ill get Peridot and you both go to sleep, okay?" I nod and wait for Peridot's arrival.

Peridot got upstairs and goofily smiles at me and dances.
"Immm gettig lasangguaaa" she sings and turns in circles. I tilt my head.
"Sure you are *hic*, now get in bed, i need a cuddle" i smiled, she tears up. "So I'm not getting lasangua?" She hiccups before flopping onto the bed in tears. I cant help but laugh at her temper tantrum that is starting.
