JJ: " What her name is dawg?"
Quan: " Amarii Woods ... damn she looked good, she looks good everyday but it was just some bout yesterday , know them Thursday's hit different cause it's Friday Jr"
JJ: " Man you on some other shit for real, so that mean since it's Friday she look better than Thursday?"
Quan: " She ain't come to school today, but she said she coming to da game so we gon see "
JJ:" Ight, might have to introduce myself to shawty"
Quan:" What? Bro you tweaking.. that's all mine ain't no introducing shit"

JJ laughed, gave me some dap and walked off. I been thinking about Amarii since yesterday, it's something about her man. I thought to myself, "I know I got her added on the chat". I grabbed my phone and checked, her username was " theylovemarii" I texted her and asked was she still coming to the game and she said yes with her friend Leyhlani and her lil sister. I know Leyhlani cause we take a couple classes together. I replied Ight see you there I guess and she left me on read but I didn't trip about it.
I had to get my mind focused on the game, this was our rivalry game and I really wanna impress Amarii, but I just know some Division 1 Scouts gonna be there too... damn the pressure is really on me today. I grabbed all my stuff and went to workouts.
Amarii's POV
Amarii: "I had to leave him on read cause I'm tryna play hard to get Leyhlani!"
Leyhlani: " Girl you know you could've replied to that boy"
Amarii: " what I'm posed to say? "
Leyhlani: " You could've said okay or something "
Amarii:" Then he would've left me on read! You should know this"
Leyhlani:" I barely get a text back.. so how would I possibly know?"
Amarii: " Damn, he ghosting you again? It's time to let that nigga go Lani.. he ain't doing nothing but hurting you over and over again."
Leyhlani:" I'm not ready yet."
Amarii:" Ain't no such thing.. come on let's pick out my outfit for the game, you cheerleaders have a great taste of fashion"
Leyhlani: " Okay, we need something that's sexy for Quan, but still appropriate for a football game..."
Leyhlani starts to look inside my closet and it takes her about 5 minutes to put together a good outfit .
Leyhlani: " This is it. You can thank me later "
I put on the outfit, and then Leyhlani helped me put my lace on. Honestly, I looked good, I looked great. I just hope Quan likes it.
