Chapter 3: Time for a Takeover

After NXT went off the air I was a little mad about the ending and took matters into my own hands and attacked Jessyman and Marina, that was a bad idea. I caught them in the parking garage lot and I got the upper hand for a little but the numbers game always wins. They started beating me down all over the parking lot, slammed me into rails,threw me into car doors, even threw me into the production truck. They picked me up and double powerbomed me through a windshield, right before I passed out from pain I just heard Jessyman say "See you at Takeover bitch." Bianca and Kayden Carter found me on somebody car, I had broken glass all in my back and arms. They pulled me off and asked what exactly was I thinking, and honestly i couldn't give an answer I wasn't sure I just wanted some payback for them bullying me. Kayden and myself realized we had something in common and that's those two bullying us so we found Mr.Regal before he left and practically begged for a tag team match and he granted it for the pre show of Takeover:Phoenix. So the next day it was official myself and Kayden Carter vs Marina Shafir and Jessyman Duke on the pre show and Bianca vs Shayna for the NXT women's title on the main show. Kayden and myself spent the rest of the week together trying to build a little chemistry before Saturday, trained together, ate together did pretty much everything together. Before we knew it Saturday came and it was time for our first Takeover appearance, we were as ready as we could be and yes my back was killing me from getting put through a windshield I was ready to fight. Kayden and myself came out first to about half an arena in Phoenix but we got cheered. When Shafir and Duke came out and we didn't even wait we ran up to them in the entrance ramp and starting fighting. We got the upper hand and I threw Duke in the ring and the match started. I was so amped up I was throwing all types of strikes from punches to kicks to elbows. I tagged in Kayden and she is so athletic she kept the pressure on using her quickness to keep the upper hand until she slipped on the ropes and then the momentum changed and Jessyman started using her strength and got Kayden to her corner and they started double teaming her. It was about 3 minutes of that and I was so ready to come. I got the crowd behind Kayden and she started to fight out the corner. She cleared a path and started crawling her way to tag me in but Marina grabbed her leg and Kayden hit her with an enziguri and jumped and tagged me. I hit a springboard hurricanrana on Marina, then dunked under a clothesline and hit a springboard sling blade on Jessyman. I hit a super kick on Marina and a pele kick on Jessyman, I went for a cover on Marina but Jessyman broke it up, Kayden came in and threw Jessyman out the ring then Shaifr hit Kayden with a knee to her face and she turned around and I hit her with the springboard forearm and got the 1,2,3 for the win. We celebrated our win and went to the back and celebrated a little more with Bianca. Well I thought my night was over and I was gonna spend the rest of the time watching the rest of the matches. The main show started with for NXT tag team titles between the War Raiders and the Undisputed Era. This was a classic match power vs speed, it was a fun and exciting match that ended with the War Raiders winning the titles for the first time. Next up was Matt Riddle and Kassius Ohno. Now personally I was rooting and cheering for Riddle because Kassius is just plain rude, this one was just a bunch of hard hitting back and forth. I thought Kassius was about to win but he missed a senton and a few minutes later Riddle got on his back snd started hitting him with a bunch of forearm strikes until Ohno tapped out. Up next was for the North American championship between Johnny Gargano and Ricochet. Now it's not too many male superstars I can say I ever idolize or wanted to take some moves from but Ricochet for sure is one. These two put on possible the best match I can remember seeing from just a strictly wrestling match. Gargano did his best to keep Ricochet from using his aerial moves but eventually he got free and started flying all over the place. Johnny rolled out the ring and my man Ricochet flew over the top rope with a senton and threw him back in the ring and pulled off a springboard 450 splash and got a near fall. This match was so great but towards the end Johnny ripped off the padding on the floor and eventually did a brain buster on the exposed floor and tossed Ricochet back in the ring and did a slingshot DDT and won the championship and I was stunned, it felt like I was just a fan and I saw my favorite wrestler lose his title. Now next was the match I was most interested in, Shayna vs Bianca for the women's title. As much as I wanted to go out there with her just to watch her back but I let her go out there by herself like she asked. Now this match was extremely physical, Bianca started off on fire until Shayna grabbed her braid and pulled her into the ring post. It started going downhill from there, Shayna started destroying Bianca's arm, she's extremely vicious. After a while it started getting hard to watch and Shayna was talking more trash then normal but all she got for that was a slap right to the face. Bianca started to comeback basically with one arm but she managed to get a spear and went for a spilt-legged splash but Shayna got her knees up and then gave another knee right to Bianca's face. It was a little back and fourth with Shayna getting the upper hand until Bianca whipped her with the braid and they both were trying to gather themselves. Bianca went for another spear but Shayna moved out the way and the ref got hit, Baszler went for the Kirifuda clutch but Bianca managed to get out and hit a KOD and went for a pin and had the 3 count but the ref was down. Jessyman and Marina came down to help Shayna and I know Bianca told me to stay in the back but I couldn't let her be out there just 1 on 3. Now at first Bianca was holding her own but I still came out and I slid in the ring and super kicked Marina and I did a pele kick to Jessyman. I didn't touch Shayna but I did hit a springboard crossbody on both Jessyman and Marina to take them out. Back in the ring Shayna got back to her feet and went for a knee strike but Bianca countered with one more hair whip and a KOD and got the 3 count to win the championship. She was so happy and in tears like I was about to cry for her. I went to the back and waited for her to come back and so many people from the roster was congratulating her. "Now Trinity." She said this with a little smirk on her face. "Okay I know you told me not to help but come on it was one on 3." I was just trying to defend my decision. She gave me a hug and went off with her husband and I went back to watch the main event with was for the NXT Championship, Tommaso Ciampa vs Aleister Black. Everything about this match slapped like they were very physical, it was full of physiological, and I thought on so many occasions that Aleister was gonna win back the title but after 4 Fairy tail endings Ciampa finally got the win and retained. This was probably the most exciting night I can remember having in my life. Myself and Kayden got a win and Bianca dethroned Shayna so I'd call it a successful Takeover. Now I thought my weekend was over and I was gonna sit back at home and watch the Royal Rumble, however I got stopped on my way out by Triple H and he asked me how'd I feel about being in the women's Royal Rumble. Are you kidding me? Of course I told him I'd love to be in the Rumble, a chance to get a guarantee title shot at Wrestlemania, I can't pass that up. I finally made it back to the hotel I was staying at and checked my phone and saw all my friends and my family (especially my big sister) congratulating me on my match and I told them that my weekend wasn't over and I was gonna be in another match tomorrow. Well the next night finally came around and I was feeling way more nervous then any other time in my life. I've grown comfortable in front of the NXT crowd and even at the pre show it wasn't an arena full of people but the Royal Rumble, one of the big four. Yeah I had some serious nerves because everyone in the WWE universe is gonna be watching. I made it back to the arena and this was a complete different feeling, I'm around the top superstars, from Seth Rollins to Charlotte Flair. I swear it feels like I don't even belong here but I keep telling myself that I'm just as good as everyone here. After the first 3 matches it was time for the Rumble. The first two to enter was Lacey Evans and Natalya. I was so antsy waiting but after 21 entrants it was my time to enter at number 22. I came through the curtain and man these fans were really cheering as loud as I've ever heard for me. I was finally getting the "NXTRIN" chants I was trying to start. I made it to the ring and was throwing super kicks left and right. One to Lacey, one to each member of the Riott Squad, I even caught Charlotte with one. I hit Tamina with a round house and tossed her over the top for my first elimination. I ducked a clothesline from Alicia Fox and I did a bicycle pump kick and clotheslined her over to rope. I was feeling it and I turned around and was face to face with Naomi. My eyes started to get big like this is a big idol of mines. I went for another super kick but she dodged it and went for a round house kick, I ducked under and tried to throw one but she ducked under and I caught her with a pele kick. I turned around and got caught with an Eclipse by Ember and I rolled over to the edge of the ring to try and recover. About 10 minutes passed and the ring was getting filled up, I decided to go after Nia Jax..... this was easily the worst decision I could have made. I tried to use some speed and I went for a springboard sling blade and she just knocked me out the air, she hit me with Samoan drop and then a leg drop. She proceeded to pick me up in a military press and tossed me right over the top rope and I landed on my side and was eliminated after lasting about 13 minutes. Well Becky ended up winning the Rumble and I can admit even though I didn't win I was still proud of myself. The whole weekend was amazing, I got my first win at a takeover, we got new champions but I need to focus on myself. I really have no direction right now but all that could change in a matter of a week, even by the next NXT on Wednesday....
