Wana meet @ park with me and the lads, some girls are guna b there too :) x

Harry woke up to find this text message from Zayn. He looked at the time he received it, only 5 minutes before. He got out of bed and trudged to the shower. Throwing on his black ramones shirt and some white skinny jeans he headed outside. It was a warm, sunny day, he was glad he could get out, he didn't want to spend another day cooped up in his bedroom, doing homework. He turned to corner and saw Zayn and a few other people he recognised sat under a tree, laughing and talking. He went over to them and sat down crossed legged, and after doing the initial greetings, quick nod to the guys and a kiss on the cheek for a few lucky, select girls, Harry soon started joining in the conversation.  Zayn and Harry had kind of started a conversation of themselves talking about, well you know, guyish things when he heard Lucy, a pretty, dark haired girl, who he was sure Zayn had a crush on, speak up,

"Eye spy with my little eye something beginning with T, Tomlinson"  Harry looked up confusedly, what the hell was this girl on about? He carried on wondering until she held out her dainty hand in a random direction, he followed her finger and there he saw Lou-Mr Tomlinson riding a bike. He was obviously taking advantage of the beautiful weather, just as Harry was. Lucy then spoke again, except this time she rose her voice so Louis would be able to hear her,

"Hey Mr Tomlinson" Louis looked round, when his eyes met the group of students he smiled and just raised his hand in a simple gesture, then quickly putting it back on the handlebar to steady himself. That's when another girl, Emily Harry thought she was called, shouted,

"Looking good Mr Tomlinson" Louis didn't look around at this comment, obviously pretending that he had not heard a thing. Harry sat awkwardly twiddling his thumbs; not really listening to Zayn at all by now, more at the girls' conversation beside him.

"There are some teachers you just don't want to see on bikes, like Mr Higgins (!Paul!) and there are some you do, Mr Tomlinson a prime example of that you do." Harry had never really considered what his other classmates thought of Louis, and certainly did not think that some of the girls would fancy him, wouldn’t he love to know what the girls thought of the fact that he had snogged Louis, that would be interesting.

-***-

At break Harry went to see Louis, he didn’t even know why he was doing this but, it just felt like something he had to do. He had to know if Louis had seen him at the park on Saturday and what he thought. Louis was writing on the chalkboard as he walked in, Harry let out a breathless,

"Hi" Louis whipped his head round and smiled at Harry, he stopped writing and placed the chalk on his desk then walked round to the front of it and sat on the edge, his feet swinging cutely beneath him.

"Hi" Louis replied.

"I….I saw you riding around town the other day, on your bike"

"Yeah, I saw you too, I waved, remember, I would have stopped, but you weren't alone."

"Yeah, my friends, girl friends, obviously, wait! Not girlfriends just friends, that are girls, thought you had nice legs"

"What do you think?" Louis smiled cheekily at Harry.

"That I was embarrassed, that my girl friends thought that you had nice legs. It’s a little awkward considering the circumstances"

"Harry, what are the circumstances here? If you know, please tell me, because this is completely new territory for me."

"Yeah, me too. Maybe this isn't smart"

"I….I promise you its not smart." Harry turned and started to walk out, thinking that the conversation was done.

"But we need to talk, there are things we need to cover out of classes, er, I'm home tonight, I can make you one of two dishes that I actually know how to cook. But I want to talk to you when I'm not looking over a desk or a front facing camera of one of the random girls phones in this class trying to get a glimpse of you when they should be listening to me." Harry giggled at that comment. Harry thought Louis was going to say something else so waited, until he looked up to see him looking at him expectantly so he stuttered,

"What time?"

"Seven?"

"Yeah, yeah sevens good" Harry nodded and walked out, having one last lingering glance at Louis.

-***- (this next paragraph may be confusing but the story is that Harry's dad is cheating on his mum and Louis knows)

Harry stood in the middle of Louis' flat, looking around. It was a very quirky, old fashioned design, with bookshelves lining the walls, old wooden, oak furniture and old finishing touches. Harry was scanning the room when his eyes fell on something, an old typewriter, he ran over to it and started randomly pressing on buttons.

"Do you use this?" Louis came in from the kitchen with was just connected to the room by a little arch, he came though and looked at what Harry was talking about, when he saw the typewriter he smiled,

"Yeah, as a paperweight. Mostly to remind myself that there was English literature before laptops. What do you think?"

"Its nice. Yeah, I like it. Thanks for asking me."

"Your welcome. How are things at home?"

"Huh, fine, erm, my mum and dad are having a 'date night'"

"Mmmm..well maybe they are working things out?"

"They can have all the 'alone time' in the world but she's……. she is going to be miserable when she finds out"

"Harry, has it ever occurred to you that your mum knows more about this than you think?"

"No. She doesn’t know, that’s the worse part, well, almost the worst part."

"Well its possible that your parents have come to some sort of understanding that you don’t know about"

"No. Its not possible. What do you mean an understanding?"
"Okay, erm, when I was 12, my parents broke up, and left my brother and me through a loop, I found out later that they'd both been cheating, they worked though it, but something else killed the marriage."

"But that’s your family, not mine." Louis huffs. "What are you trying to tell me?" Harry questions.

"I'm just saying that even though your dad put you in this position, its not your problem to fix"

"I'm not trying to fix it, I'm trying to deal with it"

"But they're the ones that should be dealing with this, what you can't see now is that your parents need to figure it out for themselves like adults"

"Like adults?"

"Right"

"Like I'm not mature enough to deal with this?"

"I..I didn't say that"

"Yes you did. You said I am a child and I should mind my own business"

"I guarantee you that’s not what I said"

"Well, if I'm such a child why did you ask me here?"

"I asked you here because I don't see you as a child, and that’s exactly why we need to figure out what's going on between us"

"Okay, just leave my parents out of it"

"You came to me about your father, do you remember that?" Harry gets up, angry with Louis. Harry walks over to an armchair and grabs his bag and slings it over his shoulder. He turns around to look at Louis,

"You know, I think I made a mistake coming here"

"I don't think you did"

"Well I do, its not something an adult would have done" Spins around and walks out leaving Louis dumfounded staring into space.
