Everybody stared at Chen blankly, D.O has his eyes furrowed while staring at him deeply

"at least just this once" Chen added

EXO huddled into a circle, Sooyoung looked at them weirdly, curios on what they were talking about she decided to listen, but she only heard audible murmurs like 'are you sure hyung' 'let him' or 'he deserve it'

EXO faced Chen with a smile Sehun and Tao were covering their mouths

"okay, but in one condition" Suho started, "you'll not troll us for a month" Chanyeol said

"I'll do it" Chen said, everybody has their eyes wide

"hyung you never gave up on trolling, are you sick?" Sehun asked

"I'm not, I just want the lead" Chen smiled

"Fine you get the lead..." D.o proceeded to smirk, Chen and Lay were jumping, but Sooyoung narrowed her eyes on him

"If you win" baekhyun added, Chen and Lay stopped

"We didn't say that we wouldn't auditioned right?" Luhan said

"So I-I've be-been t-t-trolled?" Chen stuttered, all of them burst into laughter

"Sorry hyung, we have to" Sehun said

"You should have seen you face" Tao laughed

"Stupid heartless jerks" Chen muttered and proceeded to exit the room

"What the hell guys" Sooyoung shouted, everybody stopped and looked at her

"This was really important to him" Lay said

"This will be a payback in all of the trolling he has done" Chanyeol said

"At least other than this, he really wants it" Sooyoung said

She was about to exit when Kai, who went to the restroom, was at the door

Everybody's gaze was on him, he started to feel uneasy, "sup" he awkwardly said

"Kai move out of the way" Sooyoung said

"Hyung no" Sehun said, Kai looked at Sooyoung, and his face became pale

suddenly someone placed a hand on her shoulder

"I don't think you should follow him" Xiumin said, Sooyoung looked at Xiumin

Her eyes were red, it was obvious that she was mad, Xiumin can hear audible growls from her

Sooyoung shook his hand off her shoulder, "don't touch me" she hissed

In some part of him, it hurt him, Sooyoung proceeded to exit with Lay by her side

Kai was still at his place, "kai what's up with you?" Suho asked

"I don't want to talk about it" he said and went to his seat

"What did we do to her" Baekhyun asked, worried that she may be mad at them again

"I don't know, but maybe it's best if we make him stay away from her" Suho said referring to Chen

They all agreed, they thought that Sooyoung was the reason why Chen was like that

Xiumin approached Kai, who was still pale

"Hey Kai what happened?" He asked, "something... Was different... About Summer, her eyes" Kai sighed, still scared

"where could he be?" Sooyoung muttered, they were still finding him

"hey wait... His favorite place" Lay said, Sooyoung glared at him

"we've been finding him for almost an hour, and you just said that now?!?!" Sooyoung shouted

"you know I'm forgetful" Lay smiled

they both ran to the school greenhouse, which was not on the rooftop, but the one which was beside the soccer field

they finally found Chen, he was seating on a bench

Sooyoung sat beside him, "hey" she muttered

"Why do they have to do this?" Chen asked, with obvious tears going to fall

"They just don't understand me" Chen said, "huh?" Sooyoung looked at Lay

"Even though he's the best singer of us, he almost never gets the lead" Lay explained

"you know, I know what you feel" Sooyoung said, Chen looked at her

"And here's what I think. maybe they're just afraid that you'll do better than them" Sooyoung said

"I supposed that's true" Lay said, Chen nodded

"Come on to lighten up the mood, let's go to your second favourite place" Lay said

"You mean?" Chen pointed out his fingers, trying to make sure that he was right, Lay nodded

"To the library" Chen made a superman pose and ran to the library

"I can't believe you're related to that book worm" Lay said and looked at Sooyoung

"Hey I like reading too, I'm just busy, what I'm surprised at... Is that he's the book worm rather than you" Sooyoung teased and ran after Chen, Lay followed

The 3 were heading back to the classroom, they were at the hallway while telling stories or jokes, they came across Exo

"Well if it isn't the 'wanna be'" Baekhyun said

"Can you shut up Baek" Sooyoung glared, "why are you always with him Summer, you're leaving me alone here" Sehun whined with a pout

"Awww... That's cute Sehun, but nobody messes with the people who are important or people that I care about" she said

"Look we can forget all of the things that we just did, if you guys just stay away from her" Luhan said

"Give us a reason why we must do it" Lay said

"Because she's one if the reason you guys are being like this, she's teh reason why we feel that you guys are breaking out from this group" D.O said

"No you guys are the problem, if you just give me a chance, I wouldn't be like this" Chen finally burst, everybody was taken back by his words

There were evident tears in his, waiting to fall down, but he quickly wiped it away

"So what you're leaving this group?" Suho asked

"No, but I will consider you guys... As enemies of mine" Chen said

"So be it" Baekhyun held out his hand, and secretly smirk, Sooyoung noticed it

Chen shook his hand, but Baekhyun's other hand was ready to punch him, he was already moving his arm until

Sooyoung stopped, twisted his arm and crashed him to the wall, Tao was about to go for it, but Sooyoung stopped him and jabbed 2 finger at his collar bone and then he fainted

"Seriously.. you guys hit girls?" Sooyoung asked with a smirk, all of them were jaw-dropped, Lay was smiling, and Chen had a smirk on his face

"Well see you guys" Sooyoung said happily and waved, the 3 started to walk away, while they were laughing and giving each other high - fives

"And by the way... Don't worry about Tao, he'll wake up in a few minutes" Sooyoung said

"I swear that girl is bipolar or something" Chanyeol said, causing all of them to agree

Xiumin, counting that he is the strongest, carried Tao, while Chanyeol helped out Baekhyun

Xiumin then looked back at Sooyoung. He kind of admits that maybe he has feelings for the girl, but he just can't leave the group
