Devon's POV.

I sneak into Theo's room. He's so cute when he sleeps. His chest rises up then it drops. He's slightly snoring. He looks so peaceful... I can't wait to disturb it.

I smile deviously before I walk closer to his bed.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THEO!" I scream.

"Wha?" He flies out of bed. Then he hits the ground... hard. "Ooouch," he moans, "what the heck? Devon?" He looks at me with a slight glare.

"Sorry. I just wanted to wake you up. It's a very special day." I smile.

"Don't remind me," he says while he gets up.

"Is my little Theo mad because he's 30?" I say like a child.

"Sometimes I wish I was a vampire, so that way I could stay 29 forever."

I couldn't help but laugh. "I don't! I'd be afraid you'd bite me!"

He walks closer to me, and whispers in my ear. "I already do," he says while nibbling on my ear.

"Theooo," I moan. I pull away.

"Come on, babe. It's my dreadful birthday."

"Don't worry. There will be time for that later, but right now you have to eat you're special breakfast," I cheer. "Now come on Mr. Grumpypants." I pull him down stairs.

"Devon, you made this?" He raises his eyebrows at me.

"Yup! I made you're favorite. Pancakes, bacon, and sausages."

"It's perfect," he says while he kisses me. "Lets go eat!"

We dig into the delicious food I made.

"So what does the birthday boy want for his special day?"

"I want-"

I cut him off. "It has to be something I can actually give you, not a time machine or a vampire."

"Fine," he pouts. "I really don't want anything. I have a beautiful house, beautiful cars, an amazing job too," he smiles.

I frown. "That's good," I say a little hurt.

He hugs and kisses me. "And how can I forget my amazing, beautiful girlfriend. Now that I think about it. There IS one thing I really want," he says while he wiggles his eyebrows.

"Well if that's what the birthday boy wants that's what he'll get." I start leading him to the bedroom.

"How about we just do it here," he says pulling me closer to him.

I don't object. His lips collide with mine, and I feel instant sparks. He pins me against the wall.

"Jump," he says between our kiss.

I jump, and he takes me to the living room. He plops me on the couch.

"I love you," he says as he gets on top of me.

"I love you more."

"Not possible."

Theo flops on top of me. "Greatest birthday present ever," he says while catching his breath.

"I know. I'm a great gifter," I smile in satisfactory.

"I hate admitting this, but this might be my best birthday ever."

"And it's not over yet," I say while getting up.
