Chapter (6)

Angel Mate (Gonna be short, but next chapter the fun starts! Aka Flynn going to the council.)

Chapter (6)

"So tell me about yourself Love? Is your name actually Love?" Flynn's mother sat on the couch next to me.

"Yes my name is Love." I answered, aware that Flynn and his father walked in silently. Though I know they were brooding. Each male went to their respective mate and sat down.

"That's very interesting." She pondered for a second. "Is there a reason you parents named you that?"

I thought for a second, how do I answer this without giving it away. "Well, my parents said that I am the result of a love that could never break."

She gently set her hand on my leg. "That's so beautiful. I would love to meet you're parents someday."

Thinking it was not appropriate to tell her that I didn't have parents but was created I just said, "maybe someday."

I liked Flynn's mother, she was unlike her mate that held and intense seriousness and power. She as well liked me too, she told me countless times how she felt so happy that Flynn found his mate.

Nina, who is ago I borrow clothes from, also Flynn's best friend's mate. She joined us as well later on, she was really cool and super nice, she was also very perky. I could see us becoming friends.

We talked most of the day before I know it was time to sleep. Flynn came to collect me after having gone off with the guys. We were now in his, excuse me, our room.

"So, do you like the pack?" He asked, I was in the bathroom changing, the door open just a crack so that we could talk.

"Yes. They are all pretty nice." I finished pulling on my pajama top and opened the door.

Flynn laid on the bed, his ankles crossed, shirtless might I add. My eyes widened in realization. Is that normal? Going shirtless, am I wearing these pajamas wrong?

"Good, I am glad you like them." Flynn smiled at me and I smiled back, instantly forgetting my worries about how to wear pajamas. "You should probably get some sleep. It's been a busy day for you."

Nodding I crawled over to the side next to him. "Sleeping sounds good." I shuffled are yawn behind my hand.

Curling into the pillow, Flynn joined me under the covers. Though I doubt he needed them, he was so warm. Having naturally high body heat and all. He flicked off the light on the nightstand next to him. Plunging the room into darkness. Both of is could see perfectly in the dark though.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow?" I could help but ask. I know I kinda was.

He was silent for a few seconds and I could tell he was really thinking about it. "Slightly. The council aren't that nice. I just worry they will find something against you since you are human. But don't worry Love, I will protect you and you aren't going anywhere."

Oh Flynn, I'm not human. I longed to say but I couldn't do it.

"Okay." I whispered, not knowing what else to say. Snuggling closer to his chest, I figured that was the end of conversation for the night.

It was silent for a few minutes and I almost thought he was asleep. "Love?"

"Yes." I lifted my head off his chest to look up at his face. Though it was dark I could see him clearly.

"Can I kiss you?"

Did he just ask to kiss me? Can I kiss him? I'm an angel is this even legal? Then again I am an angel not a saint. Was I ready to kiss him? I think I am. I'm over thinking this.

Oh shut up internal me and just kiss the guy.

My answer came out in a squeak. "Yeah."

His hands slid up to cup my face. His hot breath sprayed across my face. My eyes widened as his face go closer to mine, before my eyes slowly drifted shut.

His lips were but a whisper on mine, yet I wanted more. Making a bold move, I pushed closer causing our mouths to press closer together. In all my thousands of years I had never felt like this. Tingles spread throughout my body as I relaxed into it.

His mouth pressed against mine began to move. Urging mine to do the same. The kiss grew fast until neither of us could no longer breathe, but I didn't want it to stop. I couldn't believe I waited so long to do this.

He pulled back first. "I should probably stop now, or I won't be able to."

Pushing back a whimper I nodded in agreement. I ran my tongue over my upper lip, not knowing what to do next. "That seems like a good idea."

His eyes were trained on my mouth. "Uh huh." He looked like his was in a daze. "Sleep. I,we, sleep. I mean let's go to sleep."

"Okay." I laid my head back down on his shoulder. His body somewhat tense. A smile formed on my lips, that was kissing. Wow. The smile grew bigger as I felt Flynn's hand run softly up and down my back. Maybe mates weren't that bad.
