"I wish they would leave that boy alone", I told Jada as I ate my chicken salad.
"Right they always pickin' wit him knowin' he ain't gon do anything about it."
"Why don't y'all just go stick up for him?" The girl at the table behind us said.

"You right, but you talking loud enough for us to hear, so it's my business too."
"Aight aight, we get it. Turn around, mind ya' business" Jada butted in and said pointing at the girl with her fork.
It was people like that, like her. People that didn't mind their business, that irked me. Like even if she heard us, she knew wasn't talking to her she still could've minded her business.
