𝟑𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥

~~ 7. ~~

                She was grateful she don't have to sit in the car with Demilade with her father as the driver. It would have been super awkward. She couldn't even take that. She shook the thought out of her head as it creeps her out.

              The driver quickly put the phone in his pocket and opened the door of the car when he saw Demilade approaching.

"Good morning sir." He greeted as Demilade walked past him into the car.

"Morning." He replied as he seated.

              Lola turned around to the other side and entered the car sitting at the other end from Demilade.

               She saw the address of where they were heading on the GPS of the car which pretty much amaze her. She had read this in books and watched it in movies but she hadn't been in one... Until that day.

              Lola turned in Demilade direction to look at him. And she found out that he had gone back to whatever he had been doing on his tablet. Then she looked away through the tinted windows.

               The ride was quiet all through and Lola sat in silence but pondering where he was taking her. She was a bit scared but at the same time, she was still calm. She has a bit of faith in the man for an unknown reason. And she hoped he doesn't break that trust.

               They finally arrived at a building that look like a salon. But it was not the usual kind of salon she visited or had ever been to. It was a salon that celebs and other wealthy people like Demilade visited. She wondered why he bought her there.

"Come down." He ordered and he came out of the car and she followed suit.

              When they were almost to the entrance of the salon, she called him.

"Mr Demilade." She called.

                He turned around abruptly almost knocking her to the floor but she was quick to move back.

"What is it?" He snapped.

"I'm not just some minion. Can you at least tell me why we are here?" She boldly asked.

"Good you ask." He said making Lola roll her eyes.

            The guy was so annoying. He was pretty good at making someone mad. She decided in her mind. Does he consider her to be a fool because he was wealthy and he was handsome? He got it all wrong. She has a best friend and a brother as handsome as him. So he shouldn't get high on his beauty and wealth. She pondered angrily.

"You are going to be a businesswoman that deals with Salon."

"I don't have any idea about a salon business." She voiced her disagreement.

"And that is why you are here." He said.

"Do I really have to do that? Can't I just be myself?" She was trying hard not to be rude. He was pissing her off.

"Your questions are becoming too many Miss Bamidele. I'm the mastermind and you have to do as I say. Do you think my mother will believe I am dating some random girl who doesn't have her own life?"
