Chapter 1: The Prince of Persia

"I supposed neither of us are used to the spotlight" – said T'Challa to Natasha
"Well, is not always so flattering" – said Natasha turning to see him with a smile
"You seem to been doing alright so far" – said T'Challa to her – "Considering your last trip at the capitol, I wouldn't think you would be particularly comfortable at this company" – he continued
"Well, I'm not" – answered Natasha
"That only makes me glad that you are here Ms. Romanoff" – said T'Challa
"Why, you don't approve all of this?" – asked Natasha
"The accords yes, the politics not so much" – answered T'Challa – "two people in a room can get more done than a hundred" – he explained
"Unless you need to move a piano" – interrupted King T'Chaka their conversation to say hi to his son – "Ms. Romanoff" – he greeted her
"King T'Chaka" – greeted Natasha back at him – "please allow me to apologize for what happened in Nigeria" – she said
"Thank you" – said the King – "and thank you, to agree with all of this, I'm sad to heard that Captain Rodgers will not be joining us today" – he said
"Yes, so am I" – said the red hair woman back
Then they heard someone come in in the entrance with what it seems like a lot of entourage it was a young boy with hazel eyes, black hair, short on the sides and medium long on the top with a little braid on the back of his hair, he was all suit up like the rest of the people and he looked annoyed since he was moving constantly the neck of his suit.
"Looks like the circus is here" – said King T'Chaka looking annoyed at the people and moving away from his son and Natasha
"Ugh, finally a familiar face around here" – said the boy moving towards T'Challa smiling and hugging him - "how's going T'Challa?" – He asked the man
"Good, you seem good as well Arash, always having a lot of entourage with you" – he said looking at the people who were heading out of the conference giving that they were not politicians
"My father's and mother's will" – said Arash with a half-smile but his eyes seemed sad
"I thought that all the people around here were familiar" – said Natasha
"They are, but only a few are nice, to say the least" – answered Arash to her
"Ms. Romanoff..." – started to say T'Challa
"Black Widow" – said Arash shaking her hand interrupting T'Challa – "I'm a big fan, I'm Arash Mohammadi" – he said smiling while still shaking her hand
"I know, Prince of Persia-" – started to say Natasha
"Yes! Such a big honor you know me" – said Arash interrupting Natasha excited before looking down and saw their still joining hands letting her go smiling awkwardly
"So you two already know each other" – she asked to T'Challa
"For years" – interrupted Arash before T'Challa could answer making the older boy smirk at the younger one enthusiasm – "well, not actually a lot of years, is mostly these last two years since what happened to my parents" – he explained
"I'm very sorry for what happened to them" – said Natasha
"It's been hard, but I'm good" – said the Prince to her with a half-smile
"Everyone please be seated, this assembly is now on session" – said the voice in the speakers
"That is the future calling" – said T'Challa – "such a pleasure" – he said to Natasha and then turning to his friend – "glad to see you Arash" – he said and move away from both and towards his father
"Well, we better be seat for this one, I hope it ends quickly, I hate been suit up" – said Arash to Natasha moving the neck of his suit annoyed walking away from her
They all seated in their places and started to hear the speech of King T'Chaka, Natasha keep her eye on Arash he looked so young to be involve in all of this and also very annoyed, King T'Chaka didn't seem too pleased with his presence in the assembly, then she saw him looking at T'Challa direction with a weird look and she turned to see what he was looking.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" – Screamed T'Challa
A bomb exploded in the place while everybody got behind their desks, Natasha closed her eyes at the moment of the impact and when she open them she saw a golden energy like a force field surrounding the politicians that were sitting, she turned to look around and saw Arash with his eyes closed and holding one of his hands up, one of the rings in his hand was glowing golden.
When Arash open his eyes they were glowing gold like his ring, he notice what he was doing and put his hand down, making the force field disappear, he turned to look around seeing that Natasha was looking back and he looked terrified, when he turned to see T'Challa he cover his mouth in horror realizing that King T'Chaka was dead in his son's arms.
The police and security came in and started to gather all of the people out of the building, Arash saw T'Challa sitting on a bench and he move to where his friend was and sat right next to him
"T'Challa...I'm...so sorry for what happened...I wish I could have done something..." – started to say Arash
"Don't worry" – said T'Challa looking at the distance
"I tried to make a force field, but giving the surprise of the moment, I...I couldn't handle to cover all of the room" – explained Arash
"I saw that, you shouldn't have done that, everybody covered behind their desks and someone could have seen you" – said T'Challa
"I think, someone-" – started to say Arash looking guilty
"Very sorry" – said Natasha interrupting their talk and both turned to look at her – "Barnes-" – she started to say
"Don't bother Ms. Romanoff" – said T'Challa standing up interrupting her – "I'll kill him myself" – he said before moving away from her and Arash who looked worried
"What you did back there-" – started to say Natasha to Arash
"You didn't see anything" – interrupted Arash standing up to walk away before she could say anything else and Natasha grabbed him by his wrist to stop him
"How you did that?" – asked the red hair woman
"That's nobody's business" – said Arash moving his hand away from her and starting to walk away again
"Your friend knows it" – said Natasha and he stopped
"Then let me say it this way" – said Arash turning around facing her – "it's none of your business" – he said and turning around again to leave her.
