( dialogue in italics are Spanish ~ )
( also I would suggest doing more on research on meditation and aura's to be able to get an understanding of this chapter- p.s. not mandatory )
This is a huge scrap that entirely gave my "Rough Beginnings" story inspiration, so it's basically like a crossover but instead the reader is similar to Daniel, also smoking, cursing warning!

I slide on my sandals before slipping out the front door of my house. Running out for groceries was really a daily routine. I mean It wasn't like I had much of a choice, it was something that I was required to do in order to keep my stay. That of many things... It was quite hot today, so I was relieved of my choice of clothing, which was a tank top, and denim shorts. The market wasn't so far so my walk soon concluded when I stopped by the first stand to pick up the first items on the list. "Alright, all stocked up on fruits," I mumble to myself. I traveled to my second stop which was "Abuelita's shop" weird name but the title pretty much fits for the owner. Me and her were pretty close, being that I often stop by there to get junk and shit for the house.
What made her stand out a lot different from the others is she sells all kinds of stuff. Candy, souvenirs, and a bunch of other weird things not commonly sold in Mexico. She often gives me stuff for free, though I'm not sure if she does it out of sympathy. She might be old but she sure knows how to keep tabs on the people in this town. Only a few people knew about my association with The Delgado's though she doesn't know as much she thinks. "Hola," I'm greeted with the warm smile of the wise lady sitting behind the counter.
"Let me guess you're here for the pastelitos and takis?" before I could reply with yes, she was already grabbing the items off my list. "No cerza's today but I can offer you a couple of chocolate bars?" the lady places all of my items on the counter as I hand her the pesos. My last stop was the vegetable stand, I look closely at the vibrant tomatoes. "Wouldn't want to pick up any unfresh ones" I remind myself. I pick up some to put it into my bag before dropping my last one. I crouch down reaching for the fallen item before a hand wraps around the tomato. I come up to be met by the complementing appearance of a taller figure.
His honey blonde hair complemented his facial features. Not meaning to stare but I could notice a scar under the boy's eye, while smaller scratches were visibly shown through the exposed skin of his t-shirt. "Umm...you dropped somethi-" the boy was cut off over the yelling clerk. "You thieves!" he hollers. The boy pulls at my wrist before we both take off running from the market. The average person in a situation like this would probably be scared shitless, but instead, I found myself laughing.
People move aside nearly knocking over stands as we run like crazy out of the market. We both came to a stop once we were a good distance from the market. "What the hell?!" I laugh all out of breath. "Sorry, they're not so fond of me," him and I laughed together outside of a convenience store we had not purposefully stopped at. "I didn't want you to get caught up in my mess but...I think that's too late," the boy speaks to me in more of a sympathetic tone as our laughter deduced. "Naw, don't worry," I open my bag realizing the stolen items in them. The boy places the last tomato he had picked up prior into the bag. "That's on me," he jokes.
"Now what?" I ask a bit hesitantly. The fact that we were strangers was now starting to come to both of our realization. They really wouldn't be happy if they'd known I was just talking to some random stranger. We like to lay low when we're not all together. "I don't know, but I think you're kind of cool," he shrugs. "Fine, I "think" we can chill a bit," I tease. "Name by the way?" "Daniel," he responds. "(y/n)."
He had suggested taking us to some beach not too far away, it actually wasn't such a good idea being that the sun was starting to go down. I knew I wasn't supposed to be doing this, but chilling out couldn't be too bad. We both find a spot on the sand, watching the sunset in silence. I pull out my last cigar lighting it carefully so the wind wouldn't blow it out. I could feel the boy's eyes on me but I didn't pay much mind. "Want a hit?" I take a quick puff before passing it to the boy.
