A boy with h/l h/c hair was sprinting down the streets of Tokyo, not caring when he ran into people. He only had one thing on his mind and that was his best friend and the sketchy phone call he'd received from him five minutes before he'd began running.

"Rein..." he muttered as he rounded a corner to where his best friends apartment building was stood.

He ran in, apologising as he brushed past the building owner and frantically pressed the button for the lift before groaning and running to the stairs, throwing the door open and running up them, two at a time.

He reached the seventh floor and stopped for a few moments, catching his breath before running down the hall to room 43. He pulled his key out his pocket and unlocked the door, he didn't even kick his shoes off when he walked in, he just ran straight in and looked around.

"Rein!" he shouted, panic clear on his face, "Rein where are you?!"

A thud echoed from the bathroom, the boy whipped around and ran to the door, trying to open the door to find it locked.

"Rein!" he shouted, punching the door, "unlock the door, Rein!"

He rested his forehead against the door.

"Please..." he mumbled before pulling his phone out and calling an ambulance and then stepping back before throwing himself at the door, he did this over and over until the doors finally fell off its hinges and crashed to the floor to reveal a sight that the h/c haired boy didn't ever want to see, "Rein!"

He rushed over to his best friend and grabbed the towels off the racks, pressing them against the gashes on the blonde haired boys wrists.

"Y-y/n..." came Rein's weakened voice, the other boy stared down at his best friend with wide eyes.

"Hold on, Rein, I've called an ambulance, please just hold on," y/n begged, pulling him up, one hand keeping the towels pressed down tightly, the other wrapped around Rein's shoulders to keep it up, "why the hell did you do this to yourself, huh? You said you were fine. You should've told me."

A tear slipped from the corner of Rein's eyes as his vision blurred. The floor was a pool of blood, y/n noticed and questioned how there could be so much coming from a few gashes in the boys wrist. He must've cut the ulnar artery.

"H-hey... Are...you s-still there?" Rein asked, his voice weak.

"I am," y/n nodded, leaning forward and resting their foreheads together, "I won't leave. I promise."

"Thank-k...y-you...y/n," Rein smiled as much as he could as his eyes grew duller and duller by the second, his skin growing slightly cold to the touch and his breathing slowing down dangerously.

"No! You hold on. You're... You're not allowed to thank me yet!" y/n shouted at his best friend, the tears finally bubbling up, "where the hell is that ambulance?!"

"Y-y/...n..." the blonde boy in y/n's arms choked out, his voice hoarse and barely above a whisper, "s...ing...f..or me..."

"Rein," y/n whispered back, "please...just hold on a little longer! You have to!"

"P...lea..se si..ng," Rein gazed up at his best friend who had tears bubbling up.

"Kaze ga fuiteru," y/n started, his voice wobbling slightly, "Boku no kata osu you. Aa susumubeki. Michi wa ima. Anata no saki e to..."
