Sophie tried to brush off the tears from her eyes and said "So where does this lead?"

"It leads to you, who tried to fix dad, and went on a difficult journey for him. I know you were feeling useless that time, and we made you feel it more, but you didn't give up and fixed both you and dad. It fixed us too, more than you thought you did. After that day, I don't think he'll ever be disappointed in you again."

Sophie was looking at her imparter and just nodded, trying to trust Biana's words. Biana gave her more situations where it would help her open up to his brother.

They didn't noticed how long they've talked until they saw the first rays of the sun. They immediately said their goodbyes and tried to sleep as much as they can before they go to school.

"I... won't be transmitting today." She started. "I believe I'd get my point across you if I used my voice." She looked directly into his teal eyes, showing her sincerity and determination in doing so.

Fitz smiled, and gestured for her to start talking. At first, he was shocked to hear what Sophie was feeling all this time. But, at the same time, he understood.

He just wasn't expecting it to be... that bad. He tried to look calm, for her sake, but his facade broke down when Sophie started crying.

He didn't know what to do, nor what to say. He did the only thing that first registered into his mind: to hug her.

Sophie didn't push him back. She accepted his hug and cried her heart out on his chest. She was still speaking, and Fitz was caressing her hair as she spoke.

When she didn't have any more words, she just let herself relax on him and stayed silent.

When she had finally calmed down, Fitz broke the silence. "You know, I'm not an empath so I can't exactly tell you that I feel what you're feeling right now. But, I just want to let you know that you can always come to me. Whether you're happy, sad, distressed, I'll talk with you, comfort you, or simply hold you. I don't want you to feel like that, ever. Not just you, but everyone else."

Sophie leaned back and looked directly at his eyes. Fitz could see his troubled reflection on her brown eyes so he tried composing himself again. He didn't want to see Sophie troubled because of her.

He removed some tears from her cheeks using his thumb before continuing "Thank you for telling me, and you don't have anything to worry about. I don't feel that way, and never will. I don't mind if you're not 100% the Sophie Elizabeth Foster-Ruewen I met, and I don't mind if your memories never return. We can always make new ones, better ones! Just... don't say those words anymore, okay?" He let out a sad smile, waited for Sophie's reaction.

"Are you sure?" She asked. Fitz nodded and said "Positive." He was contemplating whether to open up as well but if Sophie decided to, it's just fair that he does.

"Honestly, I was kinda jealous of everyone else, especially Keefe." Fitz released her from the hug and Sophie looked at him curiously.

"I mean, I understand why you wanted to tell me last, but I guess I was kinda... jealous... that Keefe gets to get to you before me..." he said, looking away trying to hide his blush.

When he looked back, he saw Sophie's eyes tearing up again and exclaimed "No! I didn't tell you that for you to cry again! Argh!" He messed with his hair in frustration and heard a small giggle.
