"You have a beautiful house" I said, took a quick tour glancing around the space visible to me.
It's really big, gorgeous and the interior is uniquely classy.Quite eye-catching.

I brought back my gaze to Sweta Aunty and smiled genuinely appreciating the efforts she has put to maintain it so well.

Nonna says it's not end of the task how beautiful you build your house, rather putting effort everyday to remain it the same will be always appreciated. That's what I felt stepping inside this house.
Everything is so clean, so perfectly organised.

That's how Neil keeps his Mumbai appartment always tidy, clean, even his wardrobes are much organized from inside than mine are. We hardly see guys do such stuffs. Isn't it!

Undoubtedly the cleanliness is in his heredity, so of mine. I nodded internally.

"Thank you Beta....
Neil and his Papa, they had detailed most of the part the interior designer put" Sweta Aunty gave a satisfactory grin, took the seat beside me passing over Neil, who has sat on the couch opposite to me.

Nerve of him.
He is gaping at me, I can see it through my peripheral vision.

I won't look at him. He has been an asshole the whole journey. Today I'll show him the repercussions a person could face getting pissed off without letting the girl explain her side of story who he claim he like her. Today I would hold my ground.

Aunty handed me the glass. That middle aged lady must be their cook, has put the tray full of three glasses of water along with some delicious sweets of different shapes, on the coffee table at the centre less than a minute ago.

I gave a soft smile, took the glass from her hold and emptied half of it in a single breath. I was thirsty. My throat felt comfortably wet swallowing down the liquid inside my stomach.

"I need to change"as if speaking to me, Neil took a breath before getting off the couch.
I wouldn't have bothered to take a single glance of him if his mom wouldn't have been around us.
I was expressionless. What does he think of himself. It was him who stopped talking to me. Now he is behaving like I'm the one. My fist clenched.

"You didn't say me that she is coming or else, at least I would have changed the bedsheet this morning.." Aunty lightly scowled watching Neil walking away. And that made him snapped his head, stopped moving to catch the stairs upward.
His eyes fall on me instead his Mom and I flinched been caught, forgot to averted my gaze. Shit I was staring at him. My eyes blinked nervously, I looked away.

"Sorry Son you have to share room with her" his Mom scrunched her nose stating her helplessness and my eyes widened, horrified. I gulped glancing at both of them. What the fucking hollycrap I got myself into. I can't share a room with this Kabir Sigh. And wait, what kind of mother is she! She is actually allowing his son to share a room with his girlfriend. Doesn't she know how irritatingly mood swing issues her Tillu has.
I got it, it's his nick name. Let's save it for later. It will be fun. A devilish smirk was on the way to appear on my lips but instantly faded when I saw Neil giving me the same mirth. Asshole. I distastefully looked away for the third time, since I have reached here.

"Kidding" Aunty sniggered, her eyes danced in amusement. I almost jumped on my seat, whirled my head at her. Neil's eyes narrowed looking at his Mom downwards.

"I have settled it already. Actually there was a slight possibility I assumed, you might be bringing her home this time" she took a glanced over me, grinned then put an arm around my shoulders lovingly. I lowered my eyes, my cheeks heated up.
"So, sorry Son for pinning the balloons of your over excited heart" she made a fake sad look, batted her eyes lashes. God she is so dramatic. I struggled not to let out a chuckle, I was in state of flushing my cheeks still red.
