I was rolling over my bed being drowsy. I heard a gentle knock on my bedroom door. After having heavy Sunday lunch it's difficult to keep your eyes opened watching Netflix all the noon hours. I took attempt to watch the latest episodes but failed around half an hour passed, I dozed off keeping it play on my laptop screen. "Yes" placing the pillow beneath my chest I laid on my stomach viewing the sun dipping low in the azur skies, through my window pane.
"Hey babe it's 6:30... won't you get ready!!" Diya plopped on the bed beside pushing me slightly.
I sighed.my gaze was still over the horizon afar. I felt a pair of eyes staring at me waiting for my response.
"Humm" I responded.
"What humm!! Don't tell me you are planning to quit...." Diya asked warily turning towards me widening her eyes..
"Raj Sir had phoned me around noon to inform that he will pick me up on the way.." replying nonchalantly I kept my chin straight on the pillow fabric.
"You seems in a deep thought" Diya brushed my hair softly. Her voice wasn't cheerful as she usually sounds.
"I don't want to go" I gasped thoughtfully.
"You are thinking too much Avni" she calls me by my full name Avni only when she tries to make me understand something bigger and whenever such situations arrives she transformed into my elder sister.
"I don't know whatever it is... But he is making things complicated" I rolled lying on my back now looking at the ceiling my hands on my stomach.
"And I'm more than sure that he likes you, or..." I instantly turned my face "or!!" I furrowed my brows questionably. There was a tint of mischief in her smile.
"May be, falling for you" she said casually and laid keeping her head on my pillow.
"You are just impossible"I rolled my eyes shrugging off her words..
"Yes I'm. And there is no fun making possible things possible instead it is more exciting making impossible things possible" I shifted my eyes back outside the window. The orange hue has become darkish.within few more minutes we will get the veiw of the night city around.
"You and your quotations" I snorted lightly staring at the billow of puffy yellowish clouds afar.
"And you shouldn't keep much waiting the possibilities on your way" she got off the bed and stepped towards my closet.
"I would rather prefer to let them go away" I mumbled under my breath and dug my face in the pillow pulling it closer.
"Today try a dress.. not your boring jeans and top as always" I heard her scream back facing me. she started rummaging my closet in search of a suitable dress for me. I guess.
