The pink/roseate spoonbill who rescues Blu and Jewel from the marmosets in by taking them away and is dancing along to Hot Wings (I wanna Party) with the other birds is called Kipo and as revealed by some Rio McDonalds toys in 2011. He makes a brief appearance in Rio 2, quickly flying into a garage to greet Rafael and Luiz. Kipo says 'You mess with the birds, you mess with me!' to the marmosets, and is referred to as 'The Spoonbill' in the credits.
