chapter 2

“I am ready to leave “.My brother John was so confused he didn’t even have a clue of what was going on .I lifted up two red boxes one for John and the other was mine  . Then the door bell rang I went to open the door and I saw my grand aunt lily, she had a nasty look on her face  when she saw me she still felt like I was the reason why my dad was gone forever ,As she walked in and she looked around  and turned to my mum and said “I need to leave immediately are they all set? “ I looked at my mum with so much tears filled in my eyes .She turned to me and looked away to avoid bawling and turned to my aunty and nodded her head  my  aunt stepped out of  the  house and went into her car I picked the boxes and held john and told him “lets go now john we are worthless to her” immediately she heard this she started weeping she knelt down and  took my hands  and said to me “Emily I know you hate me and will never forgive me but please take care of john and I  love u two so much” I detached my hands from hers  “ you are right  I can never forgive you”. I tugged john hard and opened the door then she said “EMILY WAIT” She then handed  me a chain and said “You will no more “ with that statement I thought she was crazy and I asked her “know  what mum, know what?”. Just then  Aunty Lily came and clutch my hands pulling i and john , John kept on screaming as she pulled us away, Mum just  kept on standing there like and old lamp and didn’t  utter a single word I was filled with so much hatred for her Aunty Lily tossed us in the car and locked the door .i took a glance at john who was crying and I looked out the window to see mum .She was just by the door weeping and weeping and weeping and I screamed through the car window “I HATE YOU”. And  Immediately the car drove off
                         When we  got to aunty Lily’s house I was so surprised it  didn’t look like what I pictured at all it was  a small white bungalow with such lovely view, flower pots around and even a little garden  by the side.  I  had cried so much my eyes were so red. John had already slept and I lifted him on my arms aunt Lily got out a bunch of keys from her bag and there where all weird looking but I didn’t mind. When we got into the house  I put john on the chair and sat down it was a soft white sofa I wondered why every single thing was  white the flower pot ,TV remote, the carpet ,the walls and every single thing .she din’t utter a word to me she made coffee and offered me but I rejected and she told me in a disturbing voice “DRINK IT NOW !!” ,it tasted really nice she sat down and said “now look at me I am going to tell you ones and never again now  listen never enter that room”. she pointed to a room down the hall way it looked so creepy and weird and I said “so  what if we go in there what are you going to do”. She looked at me and moved closer to my ears and said “TRY ME”.

She then stood up at went into the kitchen I looked at john and I felt like crying out my entire life. Aunty Lily came out of the kitchen and pointed to a room and the left side of the hall way and said that is were we will be sleeping I didn’t say a word I picked up john  and went , going down the hall way I saw different doors and I looked at the particular door aunty lily told us  to avoid and I noticed it had a red door  knob why will only that door in the entire house have a red door knob I wanted to take a sneak pick of what was inside but before I could touch the knob aunty Lily screamed at me “GET AWAY FROM THERE “and she rushed and dragged my arms and she gave me a huge slap I was shocked for a moment because no one had slapped me not even the bullies in school and I yelled at her “WHY WOULD YOU FUCKING SLAP ME “?  "because I warned you not to go in there” I stormed into the room and slammed the door .i turned to see that everything in the room was white everything  single thing there was no single  different color I felt so creped out I drooped john on the bed and went to the window to get some fresh air and that’s when I saw him .
