As permanent as can be.

She writes with all her might,

"Please forget me."

Wet dots decorate the page,

Tears of sadness and remorse.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you,

But my life has run it's course."

With the pills in her hand,

She swallows them back.

"I'll see you all again someday,

But happiness I now lack."

She failed to realize,

That tomorrow was a new day.

"I have been lying all along,

I've never been okay."

Her mind was filled with rage,

Her heart was filled with pain.

"I know you won't understand,

So I will try to explain."

She continued that note,

Until it was three pages long.

"I have never been happy,

Now everything has gone wrong."

In her note she explained,

The pain she felt inside.

"I have been hurting all along,

But the pain can no longer hide."

With a smile always on her lips,

No one ever expected a thing.

She never knew the happiness,

Her beautiful smile could bring.

At the end of her note,

She had one more thing to say.

"I never meant to hurt you,

And I'm sorry I'm not okay."</span></span></h5>
